I choose this college because I want a specialization in "Industrial Automation", for which we have to take admission in Instrumentation and Control Engineering branch which is there and also it is a Government aided college. I took admission by sitting in UPSEE conducted by AKTU University Lucknow.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course "Instrumentation and Control Engineering" because I want a specialization in Industrial Automation and want to grow my career in this field.Faculty and student ratio are good. Faculty are highly-educated and experienced. No faculty qualifications are below the Masters degree. There teaching method are unique that cause good impact on students. They motivate student to do work on project and always ready to help and support the students.There are 2 sessional exam in each semester and one end semester exam. We need to study hard in order to pass it, especially in end semester exam.
Placement Experience
In 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Placement is not good for students other than CSE and IP. As this branch Instrumentation and Control Engineering is restarted in 2018 not known about the placements. My plans after getting the degree is to get a campus job. Some of the companies who visited are WIPRO, HCL, INFOSYS, TCS, TATA MOTORS LTD. LUCKNOW, MAHINDRA & MAHINDRA, MARUTI SUZUKI GURGAON, ETC.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee is affordable as it is moderate, we have to pay every year Rs. 55000 as Tution fee and Rs. 3000 Students activity fee. And we have to pay Rs. 5000 as a Caution money at the time of admission which is refundable. There is no hike in fee from last several year.There is one Scholarship/Fee-Reimbursement "UP Dashmottar Scholarship" which is by Uttar Pradesh Govt.
Campus Life
There is one annual cultural fest "Udbhav" which is organized on 30th of Oct every year as on 30th Oct 2001 college was founded. This fest comprise of Chief Guest Speech, lots of musical and cultural events and Prize distribution ceremony in which successful students in academics, curriculum activities and sports are rewarded.There is one tech fest "Technovation" which is held in February. In which many technical events are organized. In which students from various engineering colleges participate in events.There is also a Sport fest "Krida Kumbh" which is organized in January. In which many sports events are organized.There are two Library one is Central library and another is Reference Library. The central library has 4207 titles and 21204 volumes. The Reference library has numerous of books and documents, relevant technical magazines, journals and newspaper.
Hostel Facilities
There are three Boys and Two Girls hostels. Hostel messes are good. The newly admitted boys students hostel are separated from the senior's hostel to avoid ragging. One boys hostel is inside the campus. The meal quality are better.For hostel allotment, registration should be done at the time of admission. The hostel fees is moderate and it is affordable. The hostel fees is Rs. 58,500 per year and a caution money of Rs. 5000 once, caution money is refundable.
Admission
No, we don't face any Group Discussion or Interview. For admission we have to appeared in JEE-MAINS conducted by NTA, and get good ranks and after declaration of result we go through the counseling process and on the basis of JEE-MAINS merit we get admission. For taking admission in IERT B.Tech candidate must pass 10+2 with PCM with minimum of 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST). And for second year lateral entry candidate must appear in UPCET and get good ranks and should have 3 years diploma in Engg./B.Sc(Maths) with minimum of 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST candidate).
