Remarks

The overall experience for me towards this college was it had a good of academics as well as practical knowledge with extra curricular activities, we have a great faculty which takes care of our studies and other important things to lead in the business world

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculties here are well educated and most of them have done their master degree. The reason for me to choose this college and course was my interest towards the subjects and courses offered at this place. There is not much difference in the student ratio as well.

Internships Opportunities

I have completed my two internships under my college based completion internship which are organizational study and research based internship. College provides great guidance in finding out internships in every specialization.

Placement Experience

At college we are given two compulsory internships given, to complete ( 1.Organisational study 2.Research based internship)there you get opportunity to make good contacts and get confirmed job. Coming to placements, yes they are provided in the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is not on the higher end as well as not on the lower end. It is quite affordable and worth the price. There are various kinds of scholarship provided in college as well as financial assistance. A student can pay his/her fees in two installments.

Campus Life

Life at campus is pretty good. There are intra college fest named anveshan and neev where the first years and second years are a part of it which is organized by final years. There are other fests conducted as well named gladiator, bizwiz and Yuva.The most exciting part is the intra college fest which goes on to be for one complete year where first and second years are part of it who are divvided in teams by the bid of final years who own the team. We have social clubs like rotract and lead which are runned by the students.

Hostel Facilities

I have not opted to be staying at hostel. But as many as them opt for it based on the reviews I get, they have a good accommodation and food at affordable pricing which is great to live at. So opting for hostel can be a good choice for the students who come from out of station.

Admission

There was no group discussion, personal interview or test pattern was conducted for the admission purpose. If the student has passed his/her PUC 2nd year then they can be part of the college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

They provide good curriculum and better syllubus which covers most of the geology and oceanography topics especially physical and chemical oceanography, climatology, hydro geology and other topics but practically they seems little back they doesn't provide new instruments for surveying and oceanography they still following old techniques which is not relevantly used in this time

Placement Experience:

From 7th to 8th semester students become eligible for campus placement and various types big hotel brands, airlines, cruiselines and big companies visit to recruit or give placements to students and average offers are made around 600000 lakhs per annum. Collage provides 100% placement to students and we go for intership twice, once in 3rd semester and second in 8th semester. we can choose whereever we want to do our intership even we can apply for abroad interships. After I complete my degree I am planning to get a job in any international brand or cruiselines then after 2-3 years of experience I will do complete my masters then I will settle down with a nice job in India.
