Sumit Kumawat's Review On Geetanjali Institute Of Technical Studies - [GITS], Udaipur

I cleared RPET exam for this collage.i scored ran under 5000. and i choose this collage because as a local guy this college was good and i do not want to go out of my home town.

I do not think so that my college provide any kind of internship. There was no any information regarding internship in college .

There was placement cell in my college which conduct placement for students time to time. There were few companies come for placement in year 2008 as market was low that time.on campus only few companies was came which were local companies. But off campus student were selected in satyam(which is close now) Accenture, wipro, syntal etc that time they offered 2.5 lakh per annum packages for selected students.

There was special festival in each department .In CSE( computer science and engineering) we had TECHNOHOLIX event which was celebrated in every year which has many attractive and challenging events in it. We also invited other college students to participated in our event.

Fee structure was quite expensive that time. It was difficult to pay fees for student from middle class family. Each year include 2 semester and each semester has 40k around fees which is quite expensive . And if you are staying in college hostel then it is 20k more of total fees. This fees structure was of 2005-2009.

I do not think so that my college provide any kind of scholarship .There was no any information regarding scholarship in college.

I enjoyed my college life at its best. Everyone has good and bad moments in their college life. In my CSE branch we were total 60 students in which 40 were girls and 20 were boys. College campus was very good there were two very big gardens in college and also canteen.

Exam it self bring fear to everyone. If exam structure is easy then its not good for students. Our exam structure was little bit tough even labs were also quite difficult but good. We had exams of duration 3 hours minimum in each semester. We had total 100 marks was paper which is divided into two exams. Internal exam (30 marks), external exam (70 marks).

I gave RPET entrance exam for admission in an engineering college. I scored under 5000 rank and then they asked me for DD for further procedure then they started counselling i got this college in first counselling only. After allotting seat in my first counselling they asked for a DD for full fees i paid my fees and took admission.

The faculty was well trained and educated. We teach by good teachers in each year. Even the lab staff was also very much qualified. We have to give test after completing the topic which was very helpful for our final examinations. Our faculty had very good command over their subjects they always ready to help students.
