Remarks
The main reason to prefer PSIT College of Engineering is that it has one of the best placement record among the North Indian private colleges. Also the infrastructure and the facilities provided are also top class.
Course Curriculum Overview
There are many courses available in the college to pursue your B.Tech namely Civil Engineering, Information Technology Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, and Electronics & Communication Engineering. There are a very good number of faculties available. The faculty-to-student ratio is quite good. All the faculty there are really skilled and most have doctorate degrees. They teach the concepts very well which makes it easy to pass the term exams.
Placement Experience
Students from the 6th semester onwards are eligible for the on-campus placements. Various big companies visit for the recruitments here namely Infosys, Capgemini, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Reliance, and many more. The highest package offered is around 12 LPA whereas the average package is about 3.5 LPA. About 60% to 70% of students gets placed. My plan after getting the degree is to get a good placement.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees of the college are moderate. There is no such fee hike policy. The fees for the CS/IT branch is about Rs. 1.6 lakhs per year while for other branches like Civil and EC it is about Rs 1.3 lakhs per year. Scholarships are provided by the college for the ones in need. Apart from that, the UP Government scholarship program is available for students.
Campus Life
IGNITIA is the annual fest in PSIT that is celebrated every month in the year February. It is a 3-day event. A celebrity also visits the college during the event. Also, many tech events, coding competitions, quizzes, etc are conducted throughout the year. Sports ground, Basketball court, Gyms and NCC is also there for the hostelers.
Admission
I took admission through the UPSEE counselling so I did not faced any Group Discussion, Interview or Written Test for the admission. If someone took admission through direct entrance they must have faced all this.
