Remarks

Good faculty and competitive, smart peer group pushed me to choose NMIMS. I referred to Harshit Chauhan's youtube channel for reference. I also gave mock tests from TIME and Career launcher institutes. I specifically liked the career launcher ones as they were of a good level and helped me understand and analyse my weaknesses and strengths.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty is very very experienced and helpful. They are always open to doubts and questions. The student ratio is healthy as well. The faculty teaches with the help of several presentations and case studies making it practical and easy to understand. I havent written any exam yet, only tests which were of decent difficulty.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 320000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Lean in, Girl up Neev etc are some places where students start interning in college.

Placement Experience

Most of the students who apply for the campus placements are placed, and the procedure starts in the fifth semester. Companies like JP morgan, Duff and Phelps, Edelweiss come for recruiting students. Many students also start giving the CFA exams and start preparing for MBA.

Campus Life

Vaayu is the annual fest of ASMSOC, NMIMS and the tech fest is held in July. The library has a vast variety of reference books, research papers etc. Apart from Vaayu and the tech club, other clubs include enactus, social responsibility forum, debate society, nature club, montage-cultural club to name a few. There are several whatsapp and telegram groups made to help students with their entrance prep.

Admission

It was a written test with 120 questions and 100 minutes. It was completely MCQ based nd the sections were: Mathematics, Logical Reasoning and English

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE AS FOR ME I'M PLANNING FOR FURTHER STUDIES

The college is excellent because there are numerous facilities available such as experienced staff members and a wide range of instruments such as HPLC, HPTLC, UV, IR, and others. the college has good infrastructure, including a large library with nearly 6000 books and a campus with WI-FI .there are three research labs for PG students, and the college has its own licensed animal house. In addition, the teaching staff has a Ph.D.
