Remarks

1. Better Placements in comparison to new IITs2. Nice Campus life which is worth living3. Good at cultural events, In the last Cult fest there were 3 stars including diljit dosanjh so you can guess the budget4. other is my rank itself otherwise I would have chosen IIT Bombay Cse

Course Curriculum Overview

If we talk about faculty:students ratio, I guess it might go around 1:5 and almost all the faculties have a good amount of experience and also everyone has their Phds from a foreign institute and their teaching style is also quite good.

Internships Opportunities

Yeah so i did a internship in taiwan under leehter yao who is the education minister there and a scientist too, I got this offer by applying to their internship program

Placement Experience

Computer Science placements are almost 100 percent and same goes for other branches too.I myself is from electrical department and got a offer from amazon worth Rs 32lakh also my other electrical friends got around 25 lakhs.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yeah so fee for a semester is around 40000 but there are several scholarships are there like1. If annual family income is below 1lakh then you wont have to pay anything, Institute fee will be nil for you2. If your annual fee is greater then 1 lakh but below 4lakh you will be consased with around 33.33k and you will only have to pay the 6k per semester 3. If it greater, then pay the full amount

Campus Life

There are plenty of clubs starting from singing, dancing, drama, cooking, movie making, video editing, photo editing and many others. Good thing is they all get run by students only this way they learn how to improve their management skills.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is not open for choosing, its necessary .If you want to study at IIT Ropar, you must stay at its hostels which are pretty good actually.Also Hostel fee is very less, they also want you not to miss hostel life.

Admission

No interview neither any GD, you only have to clear Jee advance.and for its preparation you can consider taking a coaching which i did or you can take an online course from unacademy

MY HONEST REVIEW ABOUT MY COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students become eligible for the placements and they should not have any backolgs or reappers in the exam and they should have morethan then 5 cgpa . as i am from the 2nd yeari donot know more aboutm the placement offered made but the average packagr is 3.5 to 4 lakhs per annual and around 70 to 80 percent of students are get selected in placement . and planns after getting the degree is to do higher studies in aerospace designing in the aircrafts.

Placement Experience:

Here, the placement drive starts at the beginning of the 5th semester and goes till the end of the 8th semester. Here, all MNC like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, and many other companies come to our campus for hiring. In the very last year 2 students got selected with a prestigeous 2.5cr & 1 cr packages.

All about my college

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards students are eligible for the campus placement. Either they get internship or they get placement offers . Number of companies visited are more than 50. I will give some examples of some best companies like google , microsoft, accenture, virtusa, lenovo , Paypal, shadii. Com , JP morgan and many more other good companies visit to our college. Highest package last year was 52 lakh and the average package was 6 lakhs . More than 70 percent Student are getting placement. My plans after the degree is to get a good job in a good company

Good College, Placement and Great Infrastructure and Facilities

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum should be rated on how useful and complete it is. A good one covers all important topics like Software , Networking , Automata , SQLetc. it is mix theory and practical work . For CSE studendent there are coding laguage like C++ in 3rd sem and DSA in 4th semester.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty of Delhi University was fabulous well educated professors were there and in chandigarh University too the faculty is quite good and helping in nature. Faculty is always ready to help students at both universities. They teaching style is fabulous at both places. There were only semester exams in Delhi University and some internal tests and practical file marks were there butin chandigarh University we have exams every month this must be changed

The best out of best about iit ropar

I applied to iit gandhinagar electrical engineering and got rejected as my jee advanced rank was not as par as required to take the course.the admission process of our college is based on an examination called jee advanced and if u get a good rank and pass that examination u can enter our college.i also applied for iit hyd,iit jodhpur etc in which I have got an admission in another branch as I said earlier as I like the electrical engineering branch I joined iit ropar .or college might be worst in sports in comparison to other iits but they are always better than other iits in reasearch orientation side...Read More
