Remarks
I have applied to BBD NIT for taking admission to BTech civil engineering course. But I did not get admission there in the counselling process. I have availed management quota for taking admission near which give me fee concession. Admission criteria for this program are minimum marks in class 12 is 45% aggregate of all subjects and there is an age limit of 27 years old.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen this course because of my interest in construction management and also I want to become a structural designer. Faculty to student ratio is 1:35. Our faculty or top class faculty in Lucknow are lost just teaching us but they are also supporting in various programs such as mini project and model making. They know a bit and bite of civil engineering and also tell us how to improve ourselves and become a successful engineer.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee Hike policy such that every year 5% fees increases. The cost to study is about 6 lakh for this course. I have got the benefit of UP Government scholarship which give me fund of amount 56600 per year to each student. I have worked with Adecco construction for three months and get a stipend of 10000 per month.
Campus Life
Every year annual fest name rang Tarang and various technical fest are organised on the campus during the month of October and November. The stock of books is present in the library and we can lend 6 books at a time from the library. Extra circular activities like robotic workshop PDP GD seminar tree plantation and various things are organised here.
