There are two modes of admission One is by AKTU counselling Another is direct admission I advise you to take admission through counselling you can get cs/IT even at a very high rank. Another benefit of counselling is that you can easily get a scholarship from the UP government(if you belong to obc/sc/st)

During a semester you have to give 3 sessional exams in which 2 exams are mandatory to give. Usually, sessional exams are the basic criteria on which college allot internal marks. In a sessional, you can easily score well and it will help for the semester also.

Usually, service based companies like WIPRO, INFOSYS, TCS, etc come for campus recruitment. But there are also companies that gave CTC of 7 LPA to 8 LPA by campus placement. But I assure you there are various companies that come for CTC 3 to 4 LPA. This year many students have got a job offer off-campus. If you work hard in that direction you can definitely get a job at the end of your course. If you want to prepare for gate or cat you can also get that peer group on campus also. But in my observation placement scenario is changing and the college is making efforts to call product base companies on campus.

Scholarship: Specifically you will get a Scholarship provided by the UP government and every year we get a Scholarship which is half of the tuition fee of 1 year Job: usually service based companies come for recruitment but the scenario of placement is changing year by year. This year only two of our seniors cracked hack with infy and got a package of 8 LPA. Many students have got packages above 7 LPA.

In general Campus life is cool at UCER. Yeah, there is a 75% criteria which you have to remember. There are various clubs but not to that extent you can't expect more. Basically, they organize competitions regularly in two to three months. There is a separate club for robotics named Starkian. From this year a new initiative has been started by our professors and placed 4th year students named as SKILLUP in which they provide guidance to 2nd and 3rd year students about placement and enhancing their skill. The library is worth mentioning. It is huge and beautifully constructed Library which contains all books and journals you need for preparation of competitive exams and what you need to study in your course. Above Library, there is a sports complex which is also awesome. If you visit college don't forget to visit Library and sports complex. I forgot to mention that the Library is fully central air conditioned. The only drawback is that they don't provide wifi. Wifi is only available in the hostel.
