JIS UNIVERSITY-A STUDENT EXPERIENCE FROM BIOTECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT

I called my university and 2 days later they called me back, I went for the physical verification and some scholarship approvals (because I got a 100% scholarship for my entire course) then they admitted me, there was a particular exam which we had to give, JISU entrance examination. After that exam, i was done and ready for my induction classes

I choose this course because I really loved biology throughout my school and want to pursue my carrier in this field. Every professor in this department has a Ph.D. in their own works. I really love their teaching ability and they are so well-sourced to teach us. We have 6 total semesters and each had 1 mid sem, in the year we have two sem and 4 total exams (both practical and theory)

Many internship projects are available, it varies from time to time, You have to maintain a good relationship with the professor, HOD, and teachers. They will guide you for every opportunity. We have seminars every week and many well-known companies come to our college to give a presentation for future

Placements here are good, I am currently pursuing my bachelors so i have little idea about placements but i know for both masters and bachelors we have placements. Many companies like -cipla, nestle, Flipkart, R&D companies come to our uni for the placement. After i got the degree i will go for masters but i know many of my friends will go for companies from our uni

Jis gave many scholarships like - merit base scholarship Girl financial scholarship Cost: You have to pay your semester fees and also the exam fees which was 1300 rupees, no hidden charges are there in this structure. Just straight up 2 fees structure. I don't know about the each semester fees because i got the 100% scholarship so i just had to pay 1200 rupees.

Campus life is so good. We have a different campus for each department, well ac campus, and well-equipped labs also we have a huge playground and gym sets. A huge canteen to eat and also a seminar hall a big library and a lift to go upper classrooms.
