Umesh Chandra College

College means Umesh Chandra College.It is a very professional college with a good environment and structural facilities so I took admission in this college which is very easy as the cut off percentage is 45%. I took admission in the General Category and I don't think there is any such quota system in our college. There was no counseling day in our college but the first day of our college was just like counseling day.

There is hardly any better option than Bcom Hons when u opt for the commerce stream because it provides better employment opportunities in the current industrial environment. To handle the vast no of students u need a large no of teachers but I don't think there are enough teachers to handle the chaos. Though all the teachers graduated some teachers are not good enough and cannot clear our doubts. The exams are held half yearly every year which is neither too hard nor too easy.

The campus is being held in our college every year by the big and small companies. Students from all semesters can take part in such campuses after filling an application where the annual package is average around 3 lacs per annum. 50-70% of students get placement in such campuses. The companies that visited our college for the campus are Tata, P&G etc. I want to become an auditor after getting the degree.

The fees are comparable to other college but there is some college providing better amenities with lower fees. Financial assistance is provided to students of lower class or too poor students on applications being made. Scholarship schemes are also introduced every year by the principal for the best improvement of students.

Tech fest is being held in the Salt Lake campus every year in the month of October while Annual Fest is held in the month of Dec. Sports like CRICKET table tennis carrom is being organised in our college. The classroom has many amenities like smart board fans speaker. The classrooms are very large also.
