In this era of trying to loot higher fees one college that was not doing so and looking for the betterment of students was Umesh Chandra College of Commerce that's why took admission in this college where the fees are considerable and there is no quota process for reservation of seats for lower class and cut off percentage is as low as 50% so that everyone takes admission. The admission process is too lucid and simple.
Course Curriculum Overview
Getting a better job in the future is one thing you keep in mind while choosing a course and this is one of the reasons I tried to pursue Bcom from Umesh Chandra College having a good variety of teachers from different streams to handle the doubts of students give practical insights on the topics make every concept clear. Exams are also held half-yearly to test the students' skills and that is too easy to pass.
Placement Experience
Every semester students are given opportunity to take part in the xampus where different companies visit to hire students for different jobs.Last year only the Tata Company as well as the Trident Group visit our college to hire the students for managing jobs.Average package was around 6 lacs per annum while one student got the highest package of 11 lac per annum.Although much students don't get job from such campuses but then also 35-40% can secure their jobs.I also want to work for a Govt Co after getting the degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees is already to low that you would accept much more hike fees policy but then also some students raise voice and file an application with the principal and their fees is reduced if their reasons are considered just and reasonable. Like every other college scholarships is provided to the toppers but also our college gives scholarship to toppers in academic as well as sports areas.
Campus Life
Many social groups are also run by the college union for betterment of society like Nari Seva Group and the Samaj Safai Group.Our college has its own website and library is full of books on current as well as historical topics.Indoor sports like badminton carom chess are held throughout the year while outdoor sports like cricket are held once in a year.Annual fest is heldd in the month of October every year and lot of superstar visit the college during such fest.
