Nehru And MBA

Education should be considered as a service. where education becomes a business you are decreasing the standards of society. still can be a better place for students.

There is no special entrance exams are required to get into MBA program in Nehru colleges. I had a TANCET merit seat , but it does not have any effect towards your admission. Even without any entrance exams you can place you're self in college easily.

Average. I would rank this on the scale of five i will give 2,5. because the course curriculum is set by Anna university and not by Nehru , but still the college has the power to select the elective course curriculum , thereof they do not have a effective course curriculum.

Never. I wish my college at least helped me to find a good internship. it is all on the student to get a internship. most of the students are struggled to get a internship where college didn't have any part in that.

Very poor. but yes there were 100's of companies came claiming that they are gonna provide students job opportunities.there were small enterprises came with job offers with salary package of 10k month and maximum of 15k. we students even wonder till now " are we had an interview with a fake HR's". Because no one seems to be real and whoever got an placement never got that job in real. they remained to be in the banners of college and not in their dream offices.

There were lot of events celebrated in my college. None of them had a meaning, except the traditional festivals we had. Other than that college usually conduct one annual day cultural and some other one event where they will bring a stupid junior cine actor for no meaning. sad thing is we have to pay a nice amount to be a part of that event. and then if you do not want to participate still it is compulsory and you have to pay for it.

It is not expensive when you compare the fees structure with some other good colleges. but the problem is they are too expensive for the service they provide. They provide a bad service for a huge amount. According to me the fees is real expensive based on the standards they have.

You will get the government scholarships and the educational loans. apart from that there is no special scholarship from the college side. even to get the Govt scholarship you have to work hard. because i had a hard time receiving my Govt scholarship from my college.

Campus life. well it depends on you. its up-to you make it better. Anyways there will be serious problems will arise if you're making friendship with your opposite gender. In the case of extracurricular activities, they have a professional culture and sports persons whom got admissions to perform only such activities they are specialized in. so you'l find you're self obviously in the ground and auditorium only as a spectator not as a participator.

Average. The hostel Rooms and accommodation is good but the food is really bad. and they're not even hygienic enough. whenever you take this issue to the management they will blame the contractors and they will solve the issues with lame excuses.so the staying will be good but the food will be bad.

They are in stress and rightfully though. and it is totally understandable , where come to a college with million dream and college fail to help you achieving that goals. very pathetic.

The semester exams were conducted by the Anna university. so there was no big trouble in that. but apart from that we had internal exams that was fully controlled by the Nehru college. According to their schedule they will provide exam structure. some times the the structure works out well and most of the times it wont. so we have to adjusted with that.

Poor. while i was there for my MBA , college was literally struggling to have qualified teachers.They lacked very much in teaching and with their communication skills. i had three teachers who were my super seniors and literally didn't have any experience of teaching or neither the qualities to be teacher.
