NSHM KNOWLEDGE CAMPUS REVIEW

I applied for 2 colleges only one way LPU and another was NSHM Knowledge Campus Kolkata, I didn't choose LPU as the fee was a Little bit high so I preferred NSHM which was good at placements and the academic level as well. For the admission I fill the form online and then from the college, they call me and fixed a date and time for counselling and then after the counselling, I was enrolled in the course, and also I didn't avail and quota, and the min marks in for the science background students for BCA was 70 % in total and 60% in maths.

I choose this course as I was interested in coding, which I also had an option for. BSC Computer science but I didn't want to study chemistry so prefered BCA so that I can focus on coding itself. The faculty here is good and in a classroom, there are a max 30 students, the faculty can handle it well there are many good teachers, the professors here have at least 6-7 years of teaching experience and have industry experience as well, As per the exams they are held on time we already have an academic calendar which has the dates on which date which exam will be held so they are held on a timely basis, and the question in the exams are a little bit tough but if someone has the basis then the question is nothing to solve.

Infuzex Ventures gave an internship for Full Stack Developer and the stipend was 3000/-. ApexSkill gave an internship for Front end developer and the stipend was 5000/-. There were projects like Ai development to understand how AI worked and how we can improve AI technology so there were many more projects.

From the 5th semester, students became eligible for campus placements. There are many companies like Wipro, TCS, AMAZON, FLIPKART, and there are many more, one of our seniors got offers from 7 companies and now he is in TCS. The Highest package was 44 lakhs and the average package is 3-4 lakhs. Last year 70% of the students got placed in different companies but some of them choose to study for higher education. After the degree, I would prefer to get placed in a company and have industry experience.

For my course I gave a total of 65000/- admission fee, for the 1st year I gave 1,65,000/- fee 2nd year 99000/- and for the 3rd year 65000/- so the total fee is 3,94000 for my course. And the college does provide scholarships and as wells as placements and also internships as well, I got an internship in the college but I preferred to find internships on my own so I don't take internships from the college.

There are fest in our college I have heard it from our seniors as my whole 1st year was during the pandemic period I didn't get a chance to enjoy the fests so I have no idea about the name of the fests but yes I have heard for our seniors that our college is known for the great fest events., We do have a great library where every book is available for every course, we could just issue it anytime we wanted and return it in 14 days or reissue it. In the classroom, we do have a smartboard. As we have smart classes so that we could understand the concept easily.Our college also have a sports background, we also have a sports event day where many sports are paid from shortcut to marathon, it would be a great opportunity to take part in the event. Our college has hall types of clubs every club has its values.And all the clubs are run by the students itself
