Remarks

I applied for - Bhilai Institute of Technology, Chhatrapati Shivaji Institute of Technology. Didn't go to CSIT because there is a very less number of placement opportunities. Was not selected for BIT. The admission was done via the marks of the PET examination. Based on the cutoff for OBC I was counselled and got selected for SSTC. The process was very easy and just.

Course Curriculum Overview

I always had an interest in computers and programming so I wanted to convert this into a career opportunity. There are a total of 189 seats (now more) and almost 30 faculties in the CSE department. Almost all the faculties have done PhD in their respective fields. Terms were always on time and the difficulty level is intermediate.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 72000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internshala and many AICTE affiliated courses and internship opportunities are provided. Some of the fields are - Management, Marketing, Software developer, Web designer, Graphics designer. Other companies - IBM, HCL, Chegg, TCS, etc.

Placement Experience

There are decent placements in the college. Various MoUs such as TCS, CISCO, etc come with placement opportunities for students. Adobe also visits SSTC in placement season. There were a total of 400+ internship opportunities were provided for students.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is around 38000 for the first semester and after that, for the rest of the semesters, it is 36635 rs. There are scholarship opportunities for OBC, SC and ST caste. Financial assistance is also provided if necessary.

Campus Life

SSTC organizes the largest techno fest of central India named SAMVID every year. Many infamous celebrities and singers, as well as dancers, have been invited to our fest such as Sachet Parampara, Ayushman Khurana, etc. The social life is very good and there are many technical as well as non technical clubs.

Hostel Facilities

There are two separate hostels. One is only for first year students and the other is for students from the 2nd to 4th year(combined). In the first year hostel, 4 people live in a room which is sufficiently big. There are 4 beds, 4 tables and chairs and 4 almirahs. The food is edible.

Placement Experience:

This college is the best college in whole Chhattisgarh in terms of placements. This college will give you best placements that even the gov. college of it's level will not. A minimum of 400000 per year placements here is easy. And if you got some amazing skills then you can get a package more than 2200000 per year. That's very nice!

Admission:

I had completed my diploma From Rungta college in 2015 and then by Counseling (Counselling of BE /B Pharma) I got Lakhmi. Chand institute Of Technology college then there was a call from the college for my Document verification after verification I filled up the admission form, then the fee submission.
