Remarks
I opt for many colleges one of which is shri shikshayatan college, it has a very good faculty and infrastructure that's was the main motto for joining it. Min marks to get admission in BCom stream was 70%. As the one who fulfils the criteria we are called for an interview, and our details are checked along with basic knowledge. There was no such aptitude test or something like that. It was a quite simple procedure.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose BCom Hons as my stream as it was my field of knowledge. Out of 100 people, 40+ people chooses this stream. And as said earlier shri shikshayatan college has a very good faculty, teachers are highly knowledgeable. We usually have 2 semesters in one year and 2nd, 3rd year exams are a little bit difficult than the first year examination
Internships Opportunities
We are also offered internships or part time work to boost our knowledge. Like I got an internship in Pharmeasy. The role which I was assigned was sales and marketing. I learnt a lot from that internship.
Placement Experience
After completing our on the verge of completing our under graduation, we are offered campus placement in our college. Many top co like PWC, Deloitte, E&Y offer placement. The highest package offered this year was 11,00,000 pa and out of 100, min 40 students get placement
Fees and Financial Aid
If we talk about the total fees it was approximately 50,000 per year which is okayish according to me. After completing our under graduation top co come to our college to offer campus placement. Co like PWC, Deloitte, E&Y has been there almost every year
Campus Life
Shri shikshayatan college campus is smaller as compared to other colleges in Kolkata. But all types of games, sport, annual functions are held every year here. We have a huge library as well and every species of the book is available. Our annual fest name - 'SRIJAN' is very popular. Leadership training services popularly known as LTS are also performed here.
