Remarks
It was been our ancestors' college my grandfather and my father studied here so they also admitted me to this college because it is one of the oldest and biggest commerce colleges in Kolkata. About 75% of Ca students also study here so I took admission in this college where admission was on the basis of cutoff.
Course Curriculum Overview
It's been my favorite topic to study it was my dream to pursue Bcom in the future so I took up this course. The teacher to students ratio is 1:7 which is enough to manage the students with teachers being highly qualified with diplomas and master degrees. The exam is very easy being held on a half yearly basis.
Placement Experience
Every semester students can take part in campus but jobs are given mostly to last year students as they have full experience regarding the topic. Many good companies visit our college last few years Tata motors, Varun beverage, etc. The average salary offered was around 5 lacs. I also want to get a good job after getting the degree
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are too low in our college but are being increased every year by 5% now so it is gradually becoming difficult for students to cope up with fees, especially poor students. The scholarship is provided to students scoring above 90% marks.
Campus Life
We have a modern classroom with a smartboard and speaker facilities. Extracurricular activities are held twice every year also an annual fest is being organized on the college ground of the second campus in November. The college has its own website where students get informed about college activities.
