Overall Average College

College Management is not as good and helpful as you will find in private colleges. Its obvious that it is a government organisation so staff do not care about students problems.

I started studying in this college in 2015. This year 50 percent seats were on the basis of 12th percentage and rest on the basis of JEE mains rank. I got admission on the basis of my 12th percentage. This college was my 2nd choice. My first choice was MBM engineering college JODHPUR. My REAP(Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process) rank was 1200.

The course structure is very good. The course structure is provided by Rajasthan Technical University KOTA. It was modified after 2012. If someone really follows it, it is really very helpful. One can focus on research here but he/she has to do it on his/her own.

No companies visit this college for internships. There is mandatory training required after 6th semester.

Some companies visit this college. These companies are TCS, HCL, WIPRO, IBM, Honda, Dafodil, Metacube, uttam steel. TCS gives package of 4.25LPA. Average package is 3.5 LPA. most companies select CS/IT/EC students for IT sector. Some companies also ask students for off campus placement.

Events celebrated in our college are : Tech fest, Freshers party, Sports week, Tarangini, Freshers party is for 1st year and 2nd year students only. In Tech fest there are game like robo war, robo race, gaming(counter strike, mini militia), line follower, robo soccer Tarangini is an annual cultural program.

Fee structure vary as per seats For TFWS (tuition fees waiver scheme) fee is about 15000 per year, For GAS(government aided seat) fee is about 33000 per year, For SFS(self financed seat) fee is about 70000 per year. Every branch have TFWS seats but only few seats. All branches do not have GAS seats

Students can get loan from sbi baranch in college. Sumedha scholarship for those who have scored 75+ in 12th. Some national and state government scholarships too.

There are two main buildings known as new building and old building. One library. One new building started this semester known as civil department. Technical fest is held every year for 3 days. Sports week is also held once every year. Games played in sports week are cricket, footbaal, badminton, athletics, volleyball, kabaddi. One cultural event tarangini is also held in march every year.

Currently no hostel facility is provided. A hostel is being constructed which is expected to start by next year. Previously college provided hostel facilities to first year students. Those hostels were on contract basis. Now students have to search hostels or PG on their own.

Seniors are helpful if you find a right one. I haven't had any interaction with alumni. If we have any query which we don't want to discuss with teachers then we approach seniors and they are really helpful.

We have 1 lab every day and regular classes mostly in CS and EC departments. As it is affiliated to RTU KOTA exams are held as per time table by RTU KOTA. Two mid terms every semester. Then comes practical exams where external teacher also comes.

Faculty of our college is good especially in ec and cs branch. But there are some teachers who are not good at all. There are some teachers who have very vast knowledge in their field. Some teachers threaten students that if you will not attend classes regularly you will be detained from exams.
