My experience in Kurukshetra University

Overall this university is good for knowledge seeker but the placement cell is not too good but the person who have knowledge they got job or fame Itself.

I got admission in kuk on the busies of merit which i got in my graduation. The admission process is very easy. You just connect with the university website, whenever your marks match with the cut off then you just go university and verify your document and got admission.

M.Sc statistics is a post graduation course of two years. This course is based on day-to- day real life concept. With the help of this course i know what are the meaning of those surveys which will be done in every second. How they are important for knowing our state/city/country growth and what are the difficulties faced by interviewer.

Yes, my college provides internship program in Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). This internship is compulsory for all students. It helps us to how we deal data and making reports and research papers.

The job placement is quite bad in this university. Only one to two companies came here, and that too be didn’t give good response to students. Even those student crack entrance exam and interview they didn’t get their offer letter till now.

Many of the festivals celebrated in this university but there is a fest which is known as “RATNAWAI” which is celebrated in large scale. The Ratnawali is a cultural festival in this fest many of the university and colleges participate and this fest in approx. 4-5 days. In this fest participates shows the culture of Haryana with their dance, singing, play and other activities.

The fee structure is so cheep.

This university gave scholarship to those students who got 85% or more marks on average and also gave an opportunity to going aboard for further studies and job.

The gender ratio is quit same. There is no diversity. there is an huge sports complex in the university and a separate hostel which is available for sports students.

This university is also provide hostel facilities. There are 14 hostel for girls, 13 for boys.the hostel meal is depend on the hostel, because some of the hostels food is delicious and some of them is bad. Rooms are good. lighting facilities are so nice and Wi-Fi connectivity is also good.

The seniors are very helpul for us.they gave their notes and old year question papers tp us and they always ready for doing our help.

The examination held in two semesters. 1st sem is during dec and 2nd in may.before the examination university gave semester brake to students for their preparation and also taking some sessional as an internal examination with the help of these sessional students got good marks in internal but also in semester exams.

All the teachers are well qualified and they are very frank with their students. All the prof. are available for students all time and solve their queries. Even teaching and non teaching staff is always ready to doing students help. Mr. Mukender Singh Kadyan (Chairperson of statistics and OR) had done his specialization in Design and Analysis of Queuing model.
