Awesome Experience of my life

I have applied for Kristu Jayanti College, My interview was in online mode due to the covid situation. I was asked to join a zoom meeting to attend my interview, when it was my turn i was asked to introduce myself and then about my family, then i had to tell about my 10th and 12th results, and then i was asked a question from my 12th syllabus, and finally i was asked to tell a reason for selecting this college.

I opted for BBA AVIATION MANAGEMENT, I choose because my aim is to work in the airline industry. In BBA AVIATION MANAGEMENT we totally have two sections { A and B } I belong to B section and the total number of students in my class is 62, all teachers monitoring our class are well educated and well experienced. The teaching methods followed by the faculty members has impressed me. We have assessments on regular basis and they are completely based on the lessons taught till the date, and coming to term exams, we have two i.e. one is midterm and the other is the final exam, this is for one semester. It is not that tough to pass, as everything is clearly taught in the class. We can crack it easily by paying attention to the class.

I have not yet expirienced this as already mentioned i am a first year student. As per my knowledge there are three stages in internships 1. Summer internship program. 2. The final project 3. The campus recruitment program.

Students become eligible for campus placement after minimum of 3 years degree. I have not yet experienced the placement cycle as i am a first-year student. Almost 70% of the students get placed every year. My plans after getting a degree is to get placed in a job and continue my studies.

The cost of my course is 80K per year. I feel it is completely worth it because apart from the course choosen by us we get exposed to various fields. We also have various scholarship schemes in our college namely, 1. Jayantian Achievement Scholarship (JAS) for excellence in academics. 2.Jayantian Talent Scholarship (JTS) for excellence in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. 3.Jayantian Upliftment Scholarship (JUS) for economically ad socially disadvantaged people. 4.Jayantian Determination Scholarship (JDS) for divyangjian students

Life in this college is a fantasy, we enjoy everything this college. Coming down to the fests we have a number fests namely, 1. Kalajyothi (literary and cultural fest) in the month of September 2. Virtuso (conducted by the alumini) in the month of September 3. Intracollegiate fest cognizance in the month of October 4. Intercollegiate fest stimuli in the month of November Apart from this, we have various workshops and sessions to improve our knowledge in various things. Coming to the clubs and associations we have: Investors club, commerce club, management association, computer academy, journalism club, photography club, film club, life science club, psychology club, tourism club, environment club, erudite club, Kannada club, theatre club, jnana sanskriti- kristu jayanti college Hindi sangha, professional interface forum, current affairs forum, women empowerment cell, international students forum, literary and cultural association, sports and games club, parent teachers association.
