Detailed Review of Chitkara

Well, Having a score of 80 percentile in JEE Mains with 87% in 12th Boards I applied to various Universities like Manipal University, Thapar University, Amity University, etc. but the points that make me to select Chitkara University is their placement cell and Global Opportunities they provide. This makes them stand out in the race of various top-level institutions. They do provide admissions under various quotas but i didn't avail any. Taking admission is not that difficult as you have to just show some interest in the field of study along with that taking admission in cse , you must have a minimum 60% in 12th and a good score in JEE mains. There is no age limit to take admission. The admission process is soo smooth as the Chitkara Counselors will guide you by ringing your phone and will help you at every stage. Also, on counseling day the process is too quick that you don't have to wait. The staff is very friendly and polite.

I choose computer science engineering because Chitkara University has amazing course delivery methods and outstanding placements for the course. Their way of teaching is the best and teachers are also helping i nature. As everyone knows it is a reputed university so the crowd is also heavy but coming to the point of faculty to student ratio , that is well mainted by university heads. Approximately there are 50 students in each class. Teachers are highly qualified holding the degree's of PHD in their respective fields. their methods of delivering topics are amazing. Apart from studies they treat students as friends and help us in every problems we have. Now talking about exams, university follow the schedule strictly and everything is on time starting from classes to exams, they took small exams as important as the end terms. If the student doesn't cover the syllabus side by side as taught then it's not that easy to handle good grades.

They frame students by making them do projects and tasks in the field so as they can get an intern in good companies.

Final thing that comes in talk is univeristy's placements. Students start getting placements from 5th semester i.e from starting of the 3rd year which is amazing. There is a long list of companies like Amazon, Google , Microsoft, TCS, Infosys, HCL, Wipro etc. By the end of the 4th year the univeristy places almost every single student in the batch. Highest package goes to amout 40-50 lakhs followed by minimum is 3-4 lakhs. I will also be trying my best to get a good package in reputed company.

University's Fee structure is straight forward in batch of 2021-2022 i have paid 92k for first sem followed by 82k for rest of the semesters. Hostel fee has various options starting from 33k to 60k according to students preference they want to share room with 1,2,3 roommate respectively. Mess fee is 14k per semester and 3000 for laundry with 5000 to be deposited as security. There is a hike of minimum 5% in hostel fees per year mentioned by university. You can avail various scholarships and bursaries from university's platform as they provide numerous apportunities to get awards in various fields by showing your skills and talent.

The campus is very beautiful and eco-friendly. There is a huge library with uncountable shelves and long-lasting books for the student's convenience and needs. These get updated with time and technology. Classrooms are also well maintained with smart boards , eco-friendly nature equiped with all amenities. There are tons of extracurricular activites which are being organized every day for students' development. Moving to Sports Arena, there is no single sports activity that is not provided by the university for the students. The sports components are well mainted by the university. University has various clubs like CEED,IEEE,ICAN etc. and anyone can participate in these by simply getting inrolled .There are sports clubs for different activities like football, volleyball, cricket etc. These are all mainted by students and the head are all elected by students.

I choose to take hostel and it is quite good. there are all facilities provided in the room and is a common area including refrigerator, oven, stove, etc. We have the option of both AC and non AC rooms according to our needs. Hostel includes the mess and the food is quited good except some days. they include all time of dishes keeping the other state students in mind and thier eating habits. Hostels are affordable as there are tons of options according to your finances but one thing that doesn't suites is 4 students is one room. The registeration process is also smooth and you can get enrolled in starting of the semester only.
