Remarks

I applied for TNAU and engineering college also but I don't have an interest in engineering so I got selected in Agricultural college and Research, killukulam sub-campus of TNAU. The admission process is based on 12th marks and no entrance exam for admission. First, have to apply for counseling and in that counseling, we can select sub-campus or affiliated TNAU colleges. I availed BC quota.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I had chosen BSc Agri because I like to study science I didn't get a medical line so I took agriculture. In my class total students were 80 members, girls 50, boys 30. Very good teaching methods offline and online both were available and one more thing compare to theory class practical class was very good because in agriculture it's very important to learn practically. A yearly 2-semester exam was there when I was studied. First-year it was difficult due to language problem after that it was easy and very interesting to study.

Internships Opportunities

5

In the 7th semester, we were in the internship program. 6 months full I attended various programs. 1st 1-month village stay program in thirunelveli district. 2nd program in NGO program 3rd one is ADA program in Nagercoil. 4th program is the industrial visit program I visited the coconut industry in Nagercoil.

Placement Experience

3.5

From the 8th semester itself, students are eligible for campus interviews. So many private companies like sugarcane companies, fertilizer companies like that, and private banking institutions also selected students in campus interviews. The salary range was 150000 to 20000. After UG I went for 1 year for a job and I studied PG.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is very economical per semester 6000 rs only due we cannot face fees hikes problem also so very cool to study. I was in the hostel so the hostel fee is 10000 for 4 years so I didn't face any problems paying fees. So many scholarships were there when I was studied but I didn't get any scholarship because my father worked in a government job. After the BSc Agri campus interview was conducted on TNAU main campus but I was preparing for Msc Agri so I didn't attend an interview.

Campus Life

4.5

Accofun is the main annual function in my college it was an unforgettable day in my college life. Yes all booked and journals related to agriculture were available in my college library. Every year sports days, hostel day and muthamil vila, and Inter college-level competitions are conducted in my college.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

In my hostel room per room 3 members, so they provided 1 cot per member, shelf for keeping our things, chair and table, fan facilities were available. The meal quality was good. Morning and night idly, dosa, upma, poori, Pongal like this menu and afternoon full meals they provided. Hostel fees and mess bills were so affordable. I have stayed in my college hostel room only.
