Remarks

After inter, we will attend the EAMCET exam which will be conducted by the AP govt every year. Based on EAMCET exam results we will get into new colleges of veterinary, agriculture, and horticulture. I've got my rank 3472 in the year of 2017 so I got into agriculture based on reservation and our marks and cut-off of the respective year we'll be allotted to respective colleges. especially in agriculture colleges. We have 5 Colleges under a government with ICAR recognition and five more with ANGRAU accreditation and these private colleges have no ICAR recognition so those people who pursued their UG in these private colleges aren't eligible for some of the universities in India as their colleges have no ICAR recognition. So before joining any agriculture and horticulture colleges check whether the college has any ICAR recognition.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Actually, I got into this agriculture course as per marks in the EAMCET exam. Before that, I'm not aware of the agriculture subject and this sector after I've joined. I learned the importance of the agriculture subject which just made me love this subject more and more nevertheless there is a greater scope in this field as we all know food is the ultimate source to live and lead our life. Coming to my college 230 members are present in my class 5-6 professors are there for a subject. Ph.D. is the ultimate qualification we need for the assistant professor or professor or regional scientist in government universities. Now Ph.D. is the mandatory qualification for even an assistant professor position. Yes, I love the way of teaching of my professor's such good communication skills they have. Education is at the best level. Coming to my exams conduct pattern, per semester we've mid-term and practicals and final semester. Yes, we'll start our 2 weeks before our exams started. Many of us pass these exams.

Internships Opportunities

4

I've done my internship in the oil palm industry near nallajerla. I've done my internship in the final year of my graduate and in a covid pandemic. Actually, our college will take the responsibility of internship allotment for the students into different agro-industries like coromandel fertilizers limited and many other companies like ICT, etc. But we the students of our batch have done their internship at our respective homeplaces at nearby industries. With this internship, we'll get to know the different job opportunities in the companies. We'll get to know the economical aspects and different products manufacturing and we'll develop amenable connections with the officials who are working there.

Placement Experience

3

We have our placements both for PG students and UG students here. Some of the companies coromandel fertilizers limited company and country delight and many other companies will take interviews before taking us. Average package details are as per my knowledge 3-5 lakhs per Annum. Posts related to marketing mainly. Some companies will take 1 or 2 persons and some companies take 5-6 persons. Very less percentage of students will attend the interviews and only some of them will be selected as many of the students will go for other like higher studies and some people will go for MBA and some for people go abroad and some people will prepare for competitive exams to get in to like the banking sector.

Fees and Financial Aid

Per semester it will be around 10,000-15000 and for some of the semesters, we paid around 15000. We got scholarships between 5-30000 based on caste and existing government norms. Initially, the scholarship name is jnanabhoomi, and later changed into vidyadevena as per the new government of Andhra Pradesh. My college has good placements and few job opportunities, but mostly the companies want the male employees than female it's a bit drawback. I haven't attended any of the interviews taken cause I wanna pursue an MSc.

Campus Life

4.5

We will celebrate College day, hostel day, farewell, and freshers day and sometimes we'll have seminars by prominent personalities and personality development classes. we'll celebrate women's day as one of the best days, some important days are celebrated. Yes, it was a digital library and it was recently opened by the Andhra Pradesh agriculture minister. It has such great facilities and many more books related to agriculture subject and journals and magazines published by universities and some of them are weekly and monthly subscribed magazines like reader digest and many popular journals actually I used to read them.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Coming to hostel facilities we've faced as some of the buildings are old and as every year the strength of the students is increasing but the facilities are same. Coming to food every week the same menu of food, such a boring menu, actually quality of the food is so good but the taste was not that much great to appreciate. But in the morning session, the breakfast was awesome. Before our allotment to hostel rooms, we have to register our names with the help of staff available at the hostel and we have to pay some amount of deposit around 9000. At the end of the, we'll get our deposit back. Coming to hostel and mess fees we've paid around 4000 per every month it includes our establishment charges and mess food charges. The fee structure is somewhat different in boys' and girls' hostels. Any way we can afford our hostel bills. I've stayed in a hostel associated with the college nothing to worry about the stay. Even for our parent's stay, there is a guest house to stay in for a few days.

There should be more classes in the practical than in the theory. students are only studying and forgetting because they only study but if they practically learn they will remember so the theory should be reduced and practical should be increased.there should be 20 days for mid exams and nearly 40 days for practice and sem final exams nearly 2 months are only for exams.
