I took kee (karunya entrance examination) and secured 16th rank in it. i choose cse as I had deep interest in computer programming and also to tell about selecting this college this college stand 44th rank among college ranking by nref.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good and follows student centric approach. All in all it is good and demanding circular you get hands on experience. There are many electives student are encouraged to taka up other discipline as their electives. Students are allowed to choose which soft subject they want to specialist and slots are decided by students only so curriculum is student centric.
Internships Opportunities
Yes it provides both national and internal internship. International internship through iaste. It has good prospects in this aspect
Placement Experience
Placement is good. Many company recruit students with 15lakh package and in and around that but you have to prove your worth. Accenture, amazon, wipro, tcs, ibm, samsung, huwai and many more companies comes to recruit students and take students in bulk with good package.
College Events
Mindrkraft, KMET and megaplay are three of the biggest events celebrated in our college. Midrkraft is technical event in which many projects and programms are put up while KMET is sports event many schools and colleges come for sports meet in university and finally mega play is cultural event in which students show there cultural skills such as dancing, singing etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is lil bit on the expenxive side but has good prospects along with normal fee is 2.75 each and there are many scholarship opportunity but to avoid this burden there are many scholarship provided and also from this year many new scholarship are provided and also loans are there but all in one money gets its full value here.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes there are many scholarship such as single girl child, sports, merit and others. I availed merit scholarship which is given to student securing under 100 rank in kee test and also got above 90 in 12th board exams and 8 cgpa every year to continue the scholarship.
Campus Life
The campus life is very good. The are many grounds and courts to play any sport and extracurricular activities are focus upon closely there are guitar class sports classes workshop quizzes competition. Gender ration is good and students from all over India are there. Not only India, NRI students are there and students come for internship
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is good you get 24hr hot water supply and is allowed every electronic item and mess is also good consist of kerala, tamil, north india, NRI mess. There are close to 7 hostels including girls and boys along with 4 seater room and 2 seater room and single seater room.there are football grounds cricket ground tennis court badminton court volleyball basketball.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is very strong ibm and reliance are coming and recruiting students based on strong alumni network.
Exam Structure
Exam consist of 60% internal and 40% external internal exam is 3 test of 15 marks each and 5 marks for project + attendance and 40 marks is final marks. Total structure is student centric and student good easily score witht much work load and also faculty is the ultimate authority so one should never mess with them
Faculty
The faculty is good students are allowed to choose faculty and period slot so that they could be comfortable with the work load. There are many faculty which are best at their field so they prove to be a great asset and also many of them are good in nature. you could approach them whenever you feel so
