UCT , OU review

I have decided to opt for a different course. My list was 1. Biotechnology OU 2. FOOD TECHNOLOGY OU 3. Textile Technology OU 4. Chemical Engineering OU and so on in accordance with the unique courses offered by OU JNTU and other govt Colleges. I got 11464 ranks in EAMCET. As I have food technology as my 2nd option I got into this easily.

In search of a course that has future scope, I have opted for this. The faculty members are good enough and qualified well. But due to a govt college, the pressure and responsibility of them to teach up to the mark are quite low in comparison with Pvt colleges. The exams were conducted on time but few teachers don't even have time to correct the midterms answer sheets sometimes. Due to good student and teacher ratio i.e 5 teachers for 18 members they could easily recognize everyone. Their interactions depend on how a student is likely to share his/her view with the teacher.

I have completed my internship at prasad seeds. The opportunities are good this time as the passed-out students have been placed in a good position. There are more chances of a new recruitment drive this year Because this pandamic.

Govt provides a scholarship for the reserved candidates. But from the 2021 batch, the seats are increased to 60 so the fee was increased to 50000 from 10000. The campus placements totally depend on the placement cell and the sincerity of the previously placed students. Because usually in a food industry people couldn't handle the 12-13 hours work so easily resigns from there. The new recruitment depends on the previous year's statistics.

Every year there will be a college fest by the name Technosmania 2K21 (year wise). The students of final year from chemical Engineering food tech and textile tech will be the representative of their dept respectively. It is during this time each and every person is likely to get interactions from the whole college. It will be for 3 days morning session with their respective poster and paper presentation from various colleges and cultural activities in the evening. The cultural groups like sahas, Ecell are also some clubs run by students. A sports lounge to hang out with friends and bunk classes to have fun. Various speakers from their fields empower and educate us with their presentations.

On the day of orientation, the student is provided with the hostel application forms to provide a valid mess no. The application has to be submitted to the hostel (warden) in order to have a room. The allotment of the rooms is a bit easy but more people in a single room. The meals are good enough. But no meals on Sunday night provided with a rice package for dinner during lunch on Sunday.
