Remarks

The college will conduct exams like: Phase1 & phase2 For each phase the fee structure is different. For example I any student miss phase one exam the student needs to pay 20000 extra per year. And the exam fee is 5000 every year.

Course Curriculum Overview

In my college, they are following the CBCS system (choice-based credit system). For the first year, it was common for everyone, and from second-year CBCS will apply. The exams will be: Unit1, Midterm1, Unit2, Midterm2, and Final semester.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 130000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Our college offered internships in many places like: Chennai, Hyderabad, Delhi, Pune, and others. I got an internship in Amco batteries Pvt limited, Plant 3. A few students went to other countries for a final year project with a fee of cost.

Placement Experience

From the 7the semester, students will be allowed for placements. Companies visited: Tata consultancy service, Wipro, Zoho, Capgemini, Magic tree, Byjus, Jinsung etc. And students got offers like : Min = 1.5 lakh per annum Max = 6 lakh per annum. Percentage of students placed= 55%.

Fees and Financial Aid

For students who have a good score with sports backgrounds 100% scholarship will be provided with food and room, everything is free. Mahatma Gandhi scholarship is provided in our college. The scholarship is based on intermediate marks.

Campus Life

Every year LAVAZA will be conducted. For every department separate library is available. And all kinds of books are also available. And about classrooms. For every department separate block is available. All types of sports are conducted during festivals. And regular NCC training will be given. And separate coaches are also available.

Hostel Facilities

For first-year students separate hostel's available Coeducation. High-speed WiFi will be provided. Need to pay a 50% fee before joining. Need to book hostel from Veltech website, Prebooking allowed. Ac and non WC available. 2in one, 3 in one, 4 in one, all types of rooms available.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

Before admitting in Vel Tech, I've applied in Quaid E Millath, Queen Mary's College, Nandanam Arts college, Presidency college.I chose Veltech over these because It helps me financially and academically.Even though i had less marks Veltech admitted me. Yes I did get a rejection from other colleges due to my less performance in 12th Standard. It happened because of my medical issues. Admission process in Vel Tech was so simple and Neat First they will be asking for the following Aadhar 10th, 11th, 12th Mark Sheets 12th Certificate TC certificate Caste Certificate Income Certificate Bonafide (if necessary) And then we are requested to pay the full fee amount I joined through management quota. Firstly I haven't got good marks in my APEAMCET exam and next thing is I came to know that my relatives sons have also graduated from the Vel tech University.
