I applied for Vellore institute of technology and Amritha university but due to financial issues, I did not join those colleges. The scholarship will be based on the class 12 performance if we get 95% + in PCM we will get a 75% scholarship.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am interested in Electronic gadgets and computers I want to know about how they work that's why I chose Electronics and communication Engineering. The quality of teaching is good and student-friendly teaching. Exams will be every month like Unit tests and Midterm tests. We will get marks based on knowledge not by pdfs or any materials. We need to refer to those materials.
Internships Opportunities
IBM, Nucleonic systems, Cognizant are the companies for internships as of now with stipends of around 8000+. We are free to help in research for faculties or to do projects. Internships are also considered major projects for final years.
Placement Experience
From 6th semester students are getting placed as of now(7th semester) our college got more than 50 companies and around 1300 students were placed. The highest package was 9.66 LPA and the lowest package was 3.5 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure will be the same for all four years. For me, the tuition fee is 82500 per year and for the hostel 82700. Mahatma Gandhi scholarship will be available for students based on their class 12 board exams performance.
Campus Life
Lavaza is the annual fest and for every week there will be no fest but the problem is they won't provide attendance for attending those events. When we are free we need to attend. Every journal or book will be available on both soft and hard copies. Sports and all we can play but tournaments in college were rare.
Hostel Facilities
There 4 in 1, 6 in 1, 2 in 1 for both AC and Non AC rooms. Food is good for south Indians but not sure about north people. The registration process for a hostel is also almost the same as college. There will be a few rented rooms available near the college.
