Remarks

Admission based upon written exam conducted centrally by NIMCET (IPU). Based on their ranks in the written test students are admitted to various institutes through counselling sessions conductiong by the IPU. In 2018 , 2nd round rank cut off was 127.

Faculty is unbiased , good and helpful, Some of the teachers are very strict. Teaching methodology is good. Many teachers are not permanent here in MCA Course. All the teachers are very kind and helpful. In internals marks are given unbiased and strict checking

The placements are nice. Various companies across various fields such as finance , marketing and analytics. There is no such opportunity for FANG companies here , Only service based companies are coming to this college.

Fees and Financial Aid

Talking about course fees , The 3 year MCA course is around 350000 , Other than that they keep asking you 20k for club and other expenses like 4k for college dress.Other than that the fees is quite low as compared to other top private MCA colleges in IPU.

Campus Life

All the necessary infrastructure facilities are available. The classrooms are equipped with smart boards and projectores for PPT presentations. There is also dedicated GYM and TT rooms .Though GYM is always closed .Other than that the best part here is library. It is a two storey and is well build. Canteen is also well build and is two storyed space.Hostels are made available on a twin sharing facilities are WIFI , 4 meals , laundry. The clubs are good.

I love computer work that's why i choose this course and i am very comfortable. In this course i want to improvement on c language teaching methods that is hard. Exams are difficult but i can give my efforts.

Placement Experience:

The placements of USICT are the best among all the colleges of IPU. Every average to top student will get a good placement here. You will get an ample number of opportunities here. And the whole team of placement cells is also very cooperative. You will get internship opportunities from the second semester itself and full-time opportunities from the third semester and continue till the end of the fourth semester. The highest package is 45 LPA, and the minimum package is around 3.5 LPA. Around 90% of students have got placed. I am currently working as a software developer at Alternative Path.

LBSIM: Life Changing Experience for me.

I was offered admission by Fore, Delhi, NMIMS Bangalore, Hyderabad, GLIM Gurgaon but I talked to people of different colleges on Linkedin. I found that LBSIM people were good at interactions and overall location, curriculum suited me the most. The admission process had a GD followed by PI. I was selected through CAT but selection through XAT is also availble. Cut off ranges from 72 percentile for RBA to 84 percentile for General. I had wailist at Fore, which got clear after the first round but the response of LBSIM's RBA was better than Fore's BDA...Read More
