Admission was through COMED-K, i was interested in mechanical course since my school days, referred by relative who did his engineering from the same college in EC stream 2001 pass out.

Course structure is very extensive and focus mainly on practical things rather than theory which i think is required for engineering graduates. Course duration is of 4 years and further it is divided into 8 semesters. Each semester is having 6 theory papers and 2 practicals. Last semester mainly focus on the industrial project.

College hardly provide any good internships, Beware of that. Some good networking with seniors or resourceful person should be done beforehand to get some kind of good internships. Moreover college provided internships are basically a vague training based program where you need to enroll by paying fees. So i hope i made myself clear.

Placement is quite good. Out of 546 students around 250 students got placed in various companies according to their abilities and choice. Most of the biggest IT companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, and many more used to come come for campus recruitment. Apart from IT companies mechanical companies like L&T, Bosch etc also visit every year for campus.

Every year college annual fest used to be held continuously for 5 days, apart from it many inter college sports event, drama etc used to be held every year. Students used to participate in university events also which compromises of various events like dance competition, singing competition, sports events etc.

fee structure is as per AICTE. Tuition fee for COMEDK students was 75000 per year (mechanical,civil,telecom) and Rs 125000 for Computer science and electronics & communication. At the time of admission a sum of 25000 they used to charge for infrastructure fee.

No i don't have any idea of scholarship or loan facility offered by college as i had not availed the same.

Gender ratio is 50-50 in college. There is not any kind of tolerance in college. Every kind of religion students are there. There is various kind of workshop. Every semester. There is annual function also. There is week spot days also. There is labs race also. Every year different cultures events are also there. Very nice atmosphere.

Exams structure were not so hectic. Every year is divided into 2 semesters, in every semester 3 nos of internal exams and 1 external exam were held. internal exams were assessed by internal faculty whereas external exams used to assessed by university lecturers.

All the form filling process was done through online. After submitting the form i received the Exam Id card with the centre details and college. COMEDK exam is solely held in Karnataka. I came to Bangalore and appeared for the entrance exam. after a month i got my rank. Based on the rank counselling was organised by COMEDK for choosing the college.

Faculty members are are well versed with the subject they need to teach. All the staffs carry Post graduate degree. They mainly focus on the development of skills and knowledge of the students which shall help them in professional world. All the staffs are friendly and share a very good relationship with the students.
