Great College

I was chosen based on merit. I opted for this college as it was one of the first college in Gujarat offering B.Sc. Biotechnology which was my subject of choice.

The course structure is great. It teaches basics in the first year. In the second and third year biotechnology related papers are taught. Choice based credit system is currently prevailing. Students have options of taking electives of their choice. Each paper has a set of practicals based on the theory taught in the class. There are three theory classes each day and a practical.

The college sometimes provide internship but stipend is not available to students. The students can carry out internship in the research labs of individual faculties in the field of interest of the faculty.

The placement cell of the college is very active. Most of the students are placed in pharmaceutical industries in and around the district of anand. The rest of the students opt for higher studies and proceed to complete their post graduate degree from India and abroad.

Annual day is celebrated in the month of february every year. All the achievers are honoured during a grand ceremony held on this day. Another event which every students looks forward to is talent evening. On this evening all the students showcase their variety of talents in extra-curricular activites. The college also organizes a national seminar every year for inculcating the scientific temper in students.

I am not aware of any loan facility offered by my college to students. The college may offer scholarship to student of tits choice on case by case basis.

The campus is a very happening place for students to be there. The campus is always bustling with activity. The campus has a well balanced gender ratio and student from different walks of life are are its part. College holds various activities from time to time which keeps the students engaged and help in their overall development.

Alumni association of NVPAS is very active. It organizes a alumni meet every year for interaction of alumni and current students. The alumni is very helpful and co-operative.

The came to know about the course from an Advertisement published in Times of India newspaper. I approached the college and purchased the admission form. Then the merit list was prepared and i was selected for the course. I then paid the fees and joined the course.

The faculties of the college are well qualified and very experienced. They are very helpful and co-operative. The faculties carry out research in field of their interest. Student are benefited from the research endeavours of faculties. Faculties take keen interest in the development of the students.
