College Remark

To get enrolled in this stream at nit Jamshedpur. You have to score above 98 percentile in JEE mains. After you have secured these percentile then you would have to attend in Jossa counselling ,there will be 6 round of counselling , after that you would be called for document verification and you need to verify all required documents.

I have chosen this course because according to my rank I got this only and also I have opportunities of getting both core and non-core companies. In our branch student (boys: girls) ratio is about 3:1. Faculties in NITs and IITs are always good, some IIT professors also teach a semester in the Nits Term exams in NIT Jsr . Passing is not difficult. Scoring good marks in semester exams is also possible with a little effort.

Many companies (150+) provide internship from 3nd year here in this collage . Internships are given due importance in our college it is also included as part of the curriculum for pre final year students. The placement cell of our college is very active .

Campus placement in our college is one of the best among all the Nits. It comes under rank 10 among 31 nits in terms of placement. You will no need to go for off campus placement. A wide range (more than 100) of companies like Amazon , Qualcomm , Wipro , Flipkart ,Paytm etc. visits NIT Jsr For Placement. The placement scenario is above 95% for CSE, 92% for ECE , other branch placements are also above 80%. For CSE this year highest package is 39 LPA, for ECE 35 LPA. Plan to be placed in Cyber Security Field in big Software Developer Companies.

The fee structure for BTech are as follows: for the tuition fee of 62500 and institute fee of 25500 per semester and hostel mess fee of about 31000 per sem. There are also full fee remission for sc/st and Pwd category in which full institute fee will be cut off. There is also a fee remission programme for financially weak students there is 2/3 tuition fee remission for those whose family income is between 1lakh to 5 lakhs, and full tuition fee remission for students whose family income is less than 1 lakh.

There are many fests which are organized every year such as Culfest , Ojass techies and many other. my collage has a huge library having about all types of books. There are many clubs for technical and non technical team as well like team Rays, Ecoriders, Revantha and team Phinox which is a most popular club in our collage. There is dancing, singing, quizzing, meme club, Art club, social activity clubs like NSS, Sankalp which help needy ones. All sports facilities with their own teams are also here.

Collage has about 9 hostels for boys and 4 hostels for girls , from 2nd year in boys hostel each student will be allotted a separate room, it contains a single bed, study table, racks, along with an individual balcony. All the hostels are enabled with wifi, tv room, open hall for small meetings and for entertainment. We have also a mega Mess which has a capacity of 1500 student at a time. Meals quality is good each day we have a different menu.
