Entrance Preview
Got around 300 rank in CET and opted for Jims as it's one of the top management institutes in Delhi. Although few colleges are ranked higher than JIMS but as a student of this college I have a doubt why isn't it ranked 1 in Delhi.
Course Curriculum Overview
BCA is a course related to computer applications which includes almost every subject which you get to read in B Tech Languages like C,C++, JAVA and other subjects like Database management, Computer graphics, Linux, Mobile Communications, Computer Architecture are taught in BCA, which makes it an interesting course.
Internships Opportunities
I have no idea about this question but i guess there are no internships provided in Jims. So don't know about the stipend and anything related to this
Placement Experience
Placements as i have discussed are 100% . I don't think any college takes too many efforts when it's time for placement. But JIMS does. Every other day a company is there to take students for a job with awesome packages. Companies like Sap, ibm, concentrix, VIVO have already taken a good amount of students.
College Events
JIMS has events including small activities and big ones too. Big ones include VERVE, Anoogoonj and we have got some sought of activities every month which includes puzzles, sports meet etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is actually feasible. Fee per year is around 70,000 BCA is of 3 years. Total course costs between 2 to 2.5 lakhs which is almost equal to the fee which we had been paying during our school time.
Exam Structure
We have 2 internals and 1 external in a period of 6 months. 6 months = 1 semester and each semester we have almost 15 exams.
Faculty
As discussed above, JIMS has a bunch of best faculties you'll not find anywhere else. The faculty in JIMS have a good experience of teaching and are well qualified. Many teachers i know have done PhD and yes they actually teach well. They are up to date with the technology and give a good guidance whenever needed.
