THE BEST AFFORDABLE COLLEGE

I applied for only 2 colleges. One was GLS and the other one was Ahmedabad University. For, Ahmedabad University I filled their form and then was called for an interview which I cleared. Then I filled form from GLS University, Here an interview was not necessary, you should just have a minimum percentage i.e. 60%. If you got above 60% in your 12th/HSC, then you will easily get admission here. The reason for not opting for Ahmedabad University was that when I compared the subjects they offer and Gls offers were almost the same. But they had a huge difference in their fees. So I thought of doing my BBA here.

I chose BBA+MBA because with this I can get an insight of MBA along with BBA. They include things which are going to be in masters so the students are trained enough. There are almost 50+ faculties. And all of them are there for help at any time, text them call them, they will never refuse to help. Almost all the faculties have PhD degrees in their field. Teaching is good but can be improved. I sometimes find it difficult to understand topics because the teaching methods they use are different from what I was habituated to. Internal semester exams are conducted in August or September and then University exams are conducted in October or November. Regular tests are conducted in a class by faculty regularly.

Internships are offered in the 4th year, and I am still in the 3rd year so I don't know much about it. I have heard from the students of just BBA college in GLS that they get internships in 3rd year and they get placed in companies after their 3rd year.

I think for my course we get placements after the 4th year of masters. And during the 4th year, we have to do internships given by colleges. Companies like coca-cola, byjus, etc. almost 30+ companies come for placements. Highest Package 9,00,000. Average package 4,00,000. Percentage of students getting placed- 60-70%. I am in my third year, I hope to leave this college after my undergraduate. I have applied for CAT. If my score permits, I may apply for higher colleges.

I am in my third year right now. My fee is 32,000 per semester, which is affordable. Since my 1st year, they have not increased the fees. The fees will increase when we will reach the 4th year for masters. They increase fees for every batch as in the batch before me their fees was 28,000 per semester. Talking about placements, GLS gives decent placements. I think the average placement is around 4,00,000. If you are a good student you will get a package of around 5,00,000-6,00,000.

Many Activities are conducted. The annual fest is called TALENT HUNT, which is conducted in December. They conduct a management fest called NEETI, which is conducted in July/August. A competitive fun event is conducted called SABRANG, which is a mix of different competitions. The big library consists of almost all management books even the old books which you will not find in stores. Classrooms have at least 4 ACs, a projector and clean seats and desks. Clubs are introduced recently so they conduct many competitions as well.
