I have also applied for Manipal and ranked about 2000 in the entrance exam. But the reason I didn't go is that the fee was too high. So, I selected vasavi as my college for my engineering. In Vasavi, admissions can be done through eamcet rank or jee rank(B-category). I got my admission through B-Cat(JEE Rank). At my time, the cutoff of ECE was up to 81K(JEE Rank).
Course Curriculum Overview
Actually, from my intermediate, I had some passion for electronics. So I took Electronics and Communication Engineering as my engineering branch. The faculty: student ratio is about 1:10, But the teaching faculty is highly experienced.
Internships Opportunities
Companies like Amazon, ServiceNow, Cisco offer internships every year, and the selection depends on the student's capability. And the stipend for the internship ranges from 10 thousand to 30 thousand (rupee). Companies like Cisco from an internship with a stipend of 60K (rupee).
Placement Experience
Vasavi College of Engineering is mainly known for its placements. From the 3rd year, 2nd sem onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Many MNC like Google, Amazon, ServiceNow, etc visits the college every year with many offers. Overall 90% of students in every branch are selected for campus placements every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure for Eamcet colleges depends upon the way the students take admission i.e by Eamcet rank or JEE rank. The person taking admission by Eamcet rank has lot many scholarships like NSP, MHRDetc.
Campus Life
The annual fest organized by the college is named Euphoria and the tech fest is named Acumen. Campus life in this college is not that good (strict environment) and the college doesn't give that importance to sports and games. Clubs in college are active.
