There was counselling based on our rank in CET(common entrance test) by KEA(Karnataka examination authority). Based on rank they provide slot for document verification and provide you access for option entry to choose colleges in order. Based on cutoff rank of the college you tend to get your college.

As i had interest in electronics field i had chosen ECE as my course. There were many experienced faculties for our branch and almost 140-150 faculty members were present for our branch. Every faculty was atleast graduated to getting doctorates from university. The teaching method was too good. Per semester we use to have three internals for a month each and final exam used to be conducted by VTU. It was quite challenging but exams went well and almost college had a 99% pass percentage

Many companies like cognizant, Koch, ellucian, epsilon provided internship and training before the job. Cognizant provided Intern with stipend of 12000 pm and Koch provided Intern with stipend of 30k pm and so on. The project assigned where related to job profile and quite basic as a starter (fresher). It was kind of a experience before getting into the company. I was assigned with a good project under full stack development.

Placements are too good in the campus, this time we had a placement rate of 100% i e everyone were placed. The companies visited were TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Cognizant, Capgemini, Comviva, Wipro, Eurofins, Ellucian, PwC, Koch etc. Around 300-400 students were placed in these companies and the highest package offered was 10 lpa and the average package offered was 3-4 lpa. The profiles offered was software developer, programmer analyst, associate engineer, testing etc, There was 100% placement in the campus this year. I have been placed in cognizant as a full stack developer, i would like to continue with the same.

The fee structure was 32000 as college fees and 50000 as government fees, this depends on quota. If you get SNQ(supernumeray quota) then you need to pay 400 as government fees. There is a scholarship from government and college, government scholarship named as SSP provides around 20000 as scholarship and college provides around 10000 depending on performance basis in academics and sports etc. I got placed in Cognizant with a CTC of 4lpa and a internship stipend of 12000 pm and in hand salary of 27k

The annual fest is Cultura which takes place in month of march every year. This is a cultural fest amongst different colleges. And a sports event that takes place during November and December. And fest names Aura is a intra college fest that amongst departments. And Kannada rajyotsava celebration would be highlight and technical events takes place every weekend

Hostels are too good and there is a separate block for boys and girls. The timings alloted is strict for both. The food quality is good and there provide several food items like chapathi dosa ricebath poori and meals. They also provide a glass of milk. On festive occasion they provide special meals. Registration for hostel is simple, you need to pay fees in the tee counter and meet the warden and enroll yourself. The rooms are clean and huge space. In locality there are majority of PG and rent for PGs are moderate and affordable.
