Remarks
The admission process was very smoothly done and the administration department is very helpful and gives proper guidance. As the admission process is handled by ACPC so we get 3 rounds to get admission in the college and the college has GIA as well as SFI seats in a 30:120 ratio.
Course Curriculum Overview
Term exams were not at all difficult as the faculty of our department only sets question papers and one can easily pass if he/she attends all classes given by the respective faculties. Exams were not on time during my time because of covid situation otherwise it's very timely and exam gets over within 9 to 10 days.
Internships Opportunities
In every subject, you are given assignments and projects. And major projects are Summer Internship Project and Winter Internship Project for which you have to work a lot as you have to prepare an entire report in the given format and also have given presentations for the same.
Placement Experience
Students get eligible for campus placement after completion of the 3rd Semester. Many companies come for placement as our college is one of the oldest and reputed colleges in Surat. The highest package is around 6 lacs per annum. But the average package is around 2.5 to 3 lacs. 60% of students got placement which is mostly in banks. I do get a job in campus placement but it was with a very low package so I turned down the offer.
Fees and Financial Aid
I didn't get any scholarship or financial assistance as I belong to the general category but yes the college provides scholarships to SEBC, SC & ST candidates. Also, they give decent jobs with packages around 2.5 to 3 lacs. Fees for GIA is 14000 per year and for SFI it's 65000 per year.
Campus Life
Social group like ABVP is active and they are doing decent work in helping student regarding hostel and other amenities facility and they also organize different types of festival days like Navratri, Ganesh Puja etc. Also once a year, our college organizes a startup battle kind of competition. The library is decent but the librarian is very rude.
