Applied for few Colleges but didn't get the course I wanted. I didn't avail any quota for admission. If +65% in 12th std you can go for b.com (h) Nothing such a difficult process. Suitable college if you really are interested in studies. Lacks a few things.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this because of Hons. adds a specialisation to courses. 2/3 faculty for a particular subject. Quite a number of students in a course. Few of the teachers and too good and give 100% to teaching. While few just teach as an obligation. Exams are quite easy to pass if you study but notice for exams are provided on a short term period like 2 or 3 days prior to the exams.
Placement Experience
The average package from management courses is 6-7 lacks after a bachelors degree. And 11 to 12 lacs for a master's degree. 6 out of 10 students get placed under companies. A lot of good companies have visited for the placement. And many have got what they were looking for. My plans after my degree are to do an internship for a few months and then pursue my further studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
You can pay the fees a/m in instalments but before the due date, or will be charged for the late fee. The fee for 1st year is 37k something and for the 2nd and 3rd it's 28k something, I don't remember clearly. Your fees can be adjusted from the scholarship forms you have filled and you'll be informed about all the scholarships and govt. based programs.
Campus Life
Can issue books from Library about the subjects and no other book students are issued. If I talk about sports you can participate in the timely events arranged and can also join NCC and scouts. Events for a lot of occasions are celebrated but at the college level, not the University level. Educational trips are conducted every year for a day and to different cities for 2 to 3 days.
