Remarks

Due to my family situation, I have chosen this college. The process for admission is the very first day I got the application form and have filled and have paid half the confirmation fees. Then have taken BSc in computer science. I have given them the 10th, 11th and 12th mark sheet, adhar card xerox copy. And have paid Xtra 5000 for amenity fees. And finally, I have joined the college on July 18 2019.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have much interest in computer science other than other courses so I have chosen this. The faculty members are friendly and their teaching also will be good. They used to take classes in both Tamil and English languages. Their qualification is PhD and method of teaching by ppt presentation. EXmas were 2 months once we have 2 cycle tests it will be somewhat easy and also tough. Scoring high mark is somewhat difficult but passing the exams will be easy.

Class Size: 46Course Fees: INR 5000 per year

Placement Experience

Eligibility for placements in the 4th semester. 3 companies visited based on the strength. Above 60% they have offered. 50% of the students will be placed in it. Get any jobs in the IT field. And also try for other government exams.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are based on courses and SF or aided. The fees structure will be more compared to others. The scholarships will be provided based on family and caste. We will be having placement from 1 or 2 IT companies and also other companies.

Campus Life

They will be conducting DPT functions each and every year. All types of books available we can visit the library at any free hrs. We have to pay 5000 as an amenity only while joining the college. Our college conducts more games and programs. We will be having inter house competitions. We have Instagram pages based on courses. Gvgcomputerscience.

A College that builds knowledge,confidence and memories

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and relevant to current academic and real world needs,it hepls built astrong foundation knowledge especially in my field geography,the syllabus also supports preparation for competitive exams and higher education. Exams are conducted regularly and difficulties level is moderate,which helps in consistent preparation,however adding more practical assessments instead of only theoretical exams would be beneficial Overall the curriculum is good but it can be improved by including updated topics more hands on learning,and modern teaching methods

Course Curriculum Overview:

The courses are well structured and interesting espcially the social psychology and basic psychology papers. in a semester there are 2 internal exams and they will be at least a month apart from each other. as long as you study your course materials, the exams are pretty easy however otherwise it might be a tough one. the courses are well structured espcially the social and basic psychology. and in some semesters, there will be a reading period where students are encourged to go and read in the Library.. The Curriculum served as a base for Internships and basic understanding but it is required to do masters to get a job in psychology filed

My experience at Women's Christian College

Placement Experience:

The placements at college were good. Students become eligible for placement from the 5th semester. Some of the companies to my knowledge were Deloitte, Cognizant, Hexaware and the average package was between 3lpa to 5lpa. In my class, ther percentage pf students placed was more than 75%. My plan after my Bachelors was to immediately pursue Masters degree.
