One of the best colleges in Vizag

There are two kinds of seats that are available: Convener quota and Management quota. Convener quota students are students that secure a seat in the college through their EAMCET rank. Management quota students are the students that secure a seat with money. I'm a management quota student. There was a personal interview before they offered to give me a seat in the college. They asked me about my education and my EAMCET rank. After the personal interview, they decided to give me a seat in the college.

I chose the Computer science course as I love coding. I've always wanted to be a software engineer which is why choosing a computer science course felt like the right thing to do. The faculty-student ratio is 1:50. All the faculty members are very well experienced and qualified. They all have a minimum experience of 3-4 years and most of them hold PhDs in their respective fields.If the students have any doubts regarding the subject, the professors are always ready to help. When it comes to exams, they conduct weekly tests and mids. Semester exams question papers are usually moderate in difficulty level. Any student that has attended classes regularly will easily be able to pass these exams.

Although the college doesn't offer many on-campus internship opportunities, if a student gets an internship opportunity off-campus, the college provides the student with attendance and any other form of support to let the student complete his/her internship successfully.

Students become eligible for campus placements after the 5th semester. 9 seniors got placed in an MNC called Amazon. 50 others got placed in other reputable companies like tcs,wipro,etc.The highest package offered for the 2022 pass-out batch(our seniors) is 21 lakhs per annum and the average package offered for students is 5 lakhs per annum.The companies that visit our college are TCS,Infosys, Accenture, Amazon, Cisco and many more. The percentage of students that got placed this year is 80%

The college fee is 52000 per year and there are other additional fees which include CRT fee for placement training, JNTU intra fee, and NBA fee but these additional fees are common to any college so there's no need to worry about 'em. I didn't get any scholarship but all convener quota students got a full fee refund due to a new state government scholarship scheme.

There are many kinds of fests that are conducted by Vignan. One such fest is an annual fest called Yuvtarang. VISTA is another technical fest that is being successfully organized by our college every year. There's also a library at our college which consists of a large variety of books. A Digital library is also present and it is accessible to any student at the college. The college has a large sports ground with a basketball court and a badminton court. There's a sports room which consists of various sports items like basketballs, footballs, bats. The classrooms are very spacious and they are maintained very well. There are many clubs at our college like the ACM student chapter, Codechef student chapter, and photography and English clubs. Overall, the campus life is really good!

The hostel fee is 80000 per year and there is only one option- shared rooms. In each room, there are 2-3 students. The wardens are very strict and don't allow you outside the hostel, not even on Sundays. The food isn't great either. Some of my friends transferred to other hostels because they didn't like the food at the college hostel. I wouldn't recommend staying in a hostel.

I did face an interview round before the admission. The hod of the college asked me questions about my education up until then and he also asked me why I wanted to choose a computer science course out of all courses available. He asked me about my future career goals and after that interview, I was offered a seat at the college
