Knowledgeable and Enjoyable

The collage just has one canteen which you like or dislike should go for.The college has no special sports hour so you should help yourself to make time and have some physical education.

I wrote EAMCET exam conducted by Andhra Pradesh State Government. I opted for this collage because of its specialization in Civil Engineering course.I from the beginning wanted to be a Civil Engineer. Expert staff and state of the art civil labs drove me to opt the collage.

It being a BTECH course the structure of the course is designed in accordance to the norms.In the first year the collage even helps the students who have zero knowledge get a bridge course to keep up their standards in engineering education.First year course covers basic topics and important topics like ethics.In the second year the stuctures subjects and the core are introduced and taught by experienced staff. Third year will be an extension to the second year topics like the structural analysis,hydraulics,water resources etc.Fourth year covers all the important topics like the environment, estimating etc. All in all its a robust and hard focussed curriculum.

No, there is no internship program in the college. Instead we get intensive lab hours where we can work in state of art laboratories.The lab technicians help us learn various types of tests that can be performed during Civil constructions and foundations.This paves a way to the students to understand and do work practically which is a more effective technique for students to attain knowledge and experience that the internship.

This is the only college to be in if you are so much interested in placements.Recently in 2016 also L&T visited the campus for placements of Civil Engineers.No other collage in the region offers job placements to Civil Engineers.The packages that we get are also attractive.In our batch around 80 students were placed in Campus selections and around 50 got placed in off-campus selections thanks to the dergree value of VR Siddhartha Engineering Collage.The packages are around 5L per annum and extends depending on the talent of the student.The placements depatment is very active in the collage and even contacts companys to hire their aluminies.There no better recruitment oppurtunity for civil engineers in the region than in this collage.

Starting the year the college celebrates Republic day in January,where the Flag is hoiseted. Next there will be annual day celebrations that is conducted by the college in March in which students participate in various activities like Drama,Role-play,dancing,singing and awards distribution ceremony.There will be an annual Fest that will also be celebrated in the college where students arrange stalls and show their innovative skills like designing buildings,architecture,paintings etc. Almost the entire college organises and participates in these events.

The Fee structure for EAMCET students is very affordable and it complies with the Andhra Pradesh State government rules and regulations. The government stated fees to the college is around Rs.50000-Rs.65000 per year which is 2 semesters combined making it very cheap fee structure by any standards in India.There is paid quota which offers seats at Rs.98000 per year that is 2 semesters and it is also charged as instructed by the State Government of Andhra Pradesh. All in all the fee structure for students is very less and burden free.

The college offers many scholarships to students who are meritorious in their studies. There are other scholarships offered by the college for the Backward Caste students who are financially troubled.There are few other organisations affiliated to the college which help financially troubled people to pay their fee with no trouble.

The Campus life is amazing.Firsty to start with, the college is an Open Gate type environment. No one restricts you to stay or leave the college at any time.The gender ratios are well maintained at around 55:45 basis mainly which may vary depending on the student flow.Fresher Parties happen almost every year with a lot of hype followed by Farewell parties for out going batch students.Workshops are frequent occurrences in the college where experienced personnel are invited to help students gain innovative skills. There is no difference in the collage when it comes to race,religion and there is absolutely no politics in the campus.

Unfortunately I am not a hostler to answer in this field. I am a Day Scholar student. As of what my friends say the hostels are well maintained and food standards are met accordingly.The hostels have adequate security and wardens who maintain quality in all aspects. The hostels are closed by 8 PM and no student will be allowed out because of safety concerns of the students. Hostel has its own laundry service and kitchen which maintain good quality services.The hostel fees in our days was Rs.10000-15000 which is considered cheap by any standards.

There is a huge loyal alumni network in the collage. Alumni meeting happen every year and also depending on need.The Alumni presence is there in the College for support of students. The senior students are worth friendly and informative.

The exam structure is quite relaxed. Only one exam will be held in case of Internals and in case of externals One exam will be held with an intermediate holiday in-between.This make studying easy and hassle free for the students. The lab exam are well timed after the completion of the theoretical exam and are done batch wise in an orderly manner.There is no rush in the completion where everyone gets enough time to study and attempt the exam.

The admission was done hassle free. I submitted all my documents after the completion of the counselling sessions. They took my original certificates of 10th,Inter collage and handed over a form to fill up on what i have submitted to them and next i got to fill the admission form of the college. Office staff are extremely helpful and resourceful helping the new joining students in every way possible.

The basic level of faculty that is the Assistant Professor is MTECH.Almost there are many professors who have completed their PHd in reputed universities like IIT and NIT. The faculty are dedicated to their work when in class and practise hours.The faculty always is ready to help students obtain knowledge in their study.
