For taking admission in BTech you have successfully passed class 12th with a recognized board or have a diploma degree. If you had given jee mains examination you can go for counseling of upset or josaa, you can also opt for direct admission by visiting the college in case of not given any competitive exam.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course comprises of 8 semesters with lots of optional subjects. Also, companies visited the colleges for campus placements during 7 and 8 semesters. In psit Kanpur, we have the best faculty, all the faculty is of iit or nit. Exams were conducted at the last of the semesters called end semester examinations and between them, internal exams are also organized by the college.
Internships Opportunities
Companies also come to the college for hiring interns for internships. Companies give students various projects which they have to do within time. IT companies offer various roles in companies like data analyst, software developer, coder, programmer,etc.
Placement Experience
From the 7th semester students are eligible for participating in placement programs. Many companies visited psit for hiring students during the placement season. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, etc are mass recruiters and big companies like Adobe, Microsoft, HCL, etc hire students with good packages. The highest package of the college is 40 LPA and the lowest package is 3.2 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of psit kanpur is 1lakh 70 thousand and if you want college hostel you have to pay 70000rs extra for non- ac hostels and 95000 for ac hostels. Also, you can fill scholarships provided by the Uttar Pradesh government or any other.
Campus Life
Annual day is celebrated every year for the refreshment of students and also sports fests are organized timely for well being of students. For freshers, a freshers party is organized every year and also the college organized farewells for final year students.
