Remarks
The admission process is through EAMCET examination, I've got 12022 rank and was opted for this college in the first and second phase of counselling , the college also intake students who can pay donation. The admission process can be from eamcet or through management quota. Reservations are based on the TS EAMCET council. The admission process is completely good.
Course Curriculum Overview
I opted for CSE and IT branches but got a seat in the IT branch based on my rank. The faculty: student ratio is about 1:15. The faculty is up to mark. Many of the faculty are P.hd's and well qualified. The teaching system is completely interactive and beneficial to students. The exams were conducted thrice a semester 2 mid-semester and one end semester exam. I would say it is easy to pass but getting a good score is quite hard.
Internships Opportunities
The college provides internships from the 1st sem of the third year. Companies like Redhat, Cisco Networking Academy, BluePrism, AWS Academy provide internships with an arguably good stipend. Roles offered are like Web Developer, Software Developer. Internships are provided on Cyber Security, AIML, Cloud, etc.
Placement Experience
The campus provides placements from the third year 2nd semester, the eligibility goes like all the ones havingCGPA>7. It is said that about 140 companies have visited the college till now. Companies like Cognizant, Infosys hire a large set of people about 200 students. Other companies like Wipro, TCS, Genpact, Amazon, Capgemini, etc. The highest package last year was offered by Amazon of 24LPA. The Average Salary is about 4LPA. About 80% of eligible students are getting placed. I would like to grab a job from the campus placements after my graduation.
Fees and Financial Aid
When it comes to Fees, every student probably says this regarding our college that they keep asking for fees in very regular intervals. The fee structure is like 1,35,000 per year, and some other expenses are excluded. Scholarships like siksha scholarships are provided.
Campus Life
I would say SNIST is known for fests. Fests like Sreeotsav, Sreevision, Dandiya Night, Roboveda, etc. These fests include technical programs like Hackathons. The library has a large number of reference books and journals. You can lend the books for reference. The classrooms and labs are well equipped and furnished, each class has a projector. The sports and extracurricular activities are also encouraged but not much. Many clubs are present in the college like Start Club, Techvision, SCF, SAE club, etc
