Remarks

Manipal University was first established in 1953 offers UG, PG, Diploma, and doctoral level programs. Manipal University is ranked 15 in NIRF. I was impressed by this college not only for infrastructure but for academics, this university also has international collaboration with some reputed colleges like Trinity College, Dublin. Hostel facilities are good and proper health care facilities. Overall this college is dream come true.

Course Curriculum Overview

Manipal University offers full-time MBA/ PGDM programs. University also offers dual specialization in the following streams Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, and Operations. The faculty uses various ways of pedagogy to enhance the student's knowledge such as group discussion, case studies, presentations, assignments, etc.

Placement Experience

As I talk about placements many of my batchmates got placed into good companies with good LPA, even 70 % of students got placed for internships in a good company. Top recruiters are Amazon, Deloitte, Accenture, TCS, HCL, Infosys, L & T, Mahindra, etc. The highest package offered was 25 LPA, median package 8 LPA, and the average package offered 10 LPA.

College Events

Manipal has various events and clubs for students to explore and grab the opportunity to dabble in fine arts, music, dance, theater, etc. Some of these are the Fine arts club, Aanina club, Red x, Astronomy club, photographic club, etc. These clubs and events help students with extracurricular activities. Events Techtatva and Revels are major events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of Manipal University of MBA/PGDM is 7.92 lacs. The eligibility criteria of this course are at least 50% graduation aggregate.

Campus Life

Manipal university life is full of energy and activities. Great well-equipped lab with seen technology, the library is open 24*7, wifi available, classes are fully furnished, huge sports ground for sports activities, medical facilities. Overall Manipal university campus life is best and excellent.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is well equipped and furnished, wifi is available 24*7. Hostel is comfortable for both girls and boys.

Admission

As university admission is based on CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT scores, after scoring eligible marks you can go to the university's site and apply for an online form. Students must hold a bachelors degree from a recognised University, then they shortlist you on basis of your score, and then comes 2nd round GDPI ( Group discussion and personal interview)

Nice MBA experience with an aesthetic campus and good placements.

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college are good for marketing specialization. Compared to other specializations, from semester 2 itself, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI Bank, and HDFC Bank visit the campus. The highest package this year was 40 LPA, and the average package is around 6.5 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is 70% for now. After getting the degree, selection in a good company is my plan.

Placements in Alliance University is average to good. From the end of third semester students are eligible for sitting in campus placements.The average package for an MBA student is 6 LPA .The highest package for our batch was 24 LPA

Placement Experience:

As iibs is providing good college placements with average package of 9.45 lakhs and highest package of 48 lakhs So don't need of focusing outside the college for placement I think iibs is provided better placement opportunities

Bridging the gap

Placement Experience:

The average package offered is moderate and there are limited opportunities for high paying roles compared to top tier colleges. Companies that visit the campus are mostly small to mid sized organizations. The placement cell is very supportive and conduct training sessions such as aptitude tests, mock interviews and soft skills development to prepare students for placements.

Good learning experience with Decent Internships opportunities

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.

The title of my review were nice i have explianed my college pros and cons by completing two years of my graduation .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because to get good knowledge like finance and accounts marketing and sales in two years of my masters . The circulum was well prepared me in completing two years of my graduation by studing in my academic subject. There should be some changes need to be made by improving the course circulum and teaching methods like time table of exams class room time table College timings etc Yes the timimg of exams were not so easy it was very hard for me to go to college it was so far to go from home but the college has no buses facility and i have already try to reach so early.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

Practically 80% of my 2020 batch was given job offer by top recruiting organizations like Amazon, iGate, Accenture, HCL, Infosys, Wipro, DE Shaw & Co. Typically the average package they offered to people was around 3- 4 lakhs and the highest was way up to 10 lakhs. Our College possessed an active location cell that functioned hard to provide recruitment and other job opportunities to us.

The Pros and Cons of being a student at MIT Manipal

I tried JEE but could not secure a good enough percentile to get into prominent NITs. MIT Manipal seemed to be better than any of the cet colleges with only the course fee being slightly on the higher end. I applied to SRM and VIT, both of which i got accepted into, but opted out as it seemed like both of these colleges rely heavily on student intake and are money minded. MIT Manipal has an exam called the MET which is based on a jee scheme (+3 -1). In my year the only marks required to secure a seat in the college was the MET but the scheme has changed and now board marks are also taken into consideration. JEE percentile can also be considered if the student secures above 95 , but most students take MET and are given ranks according to it....Read More
