You have to be the 12th Science Graduate with a percentage above 70% and should have passed NEET OR GUJCET with qualifying marks. If you want to get admission to this college you have to register yourself on ACPMEC(Admission Committee For Professional Medical Education Courses) then you have to follow the steps as mentioned and do fill in all your details, then choose to fill in appropriate college in your chosen course, then merit is declared and according to merit and your rank you are allotted the college. It's all the online admission process through ACPMEC. You will not get admission by visiting college as it's a full government college.

I chose this course as it's very beneficial for you in future as nurses are needed at each and every point and no nurses will be left unemployed as you can get job in nursing sectors easily due to less number of nurses working currently.In Government College Of Nursing the faculty student ratio is 1:10 that means 1 faculty per 10 students and all faculties are well qualified and also have passed the entrance exam taken by Gujarat Nursing Council for Staff Nurses and they teach very effectively and practically they teach all the theoretical aspect in your known language and in simple way and also explain this theories in detail by practical example.During the posting in hospital they teach all the procedures in a wide manner and complete manner using checklist of procedure.There is 1 external examination taken in July or august and there is 2 Internal examination and 1 Preliminary examination is taken before external examination. If you read and pay attention to classes you can pass easily.

It's a full government college so fees here is only 145 INR per year. There is no any fees hike or anything. If you are from any scheduled tribe or scheduled caste or a socially backward caste you can get benefits like scholarships every year by submitting required documentation. Job placements are not available in this college but still as you will pass out you will not be left unemployed as nurses requirement in every sector is increasing.

There is one annual fest conducted in February or March month that is Candlelighting ceremony where the fresher students of 1st year take oath of being a nurse and that is a very huge celebration at college campus. In the library all sorts of books and magazines related to nursing are available. Classroom are huge and designed in a very good way that last bench students can also easily see the blackboard and also facilities for conducting computerised lecture is available as projector is fitted in each and every class. Sports day and various competitions are held at the campus and festivals are also celebrated in the campus with a huge bang. There is one group called SNA(Student Nurses Association) which is made by student and for the student and include various leaders of Hostel, College, Mess, Sports, Finance,etc and this group is responsible for managing the college functions and festivals and a lot more things.

Hostel is huge and very beautiful. Rooms are spacious and there is two types of room one type is General Rooms which consist of 2 students living in one room and that room has gallery two chairs and study table and two cupboards and two beds and other type is PG room which is very huge and consist of 3 students in a room it had three beds,chairs,study table, cupboards and a gallery and it include attached pantry and bathroom and toilet. Mess is also huge and provide good quality and affordable food. It provide nutritious meal and breakfast, lunch and dinner. After your admission to the college, you can register for the hostel by providing the necessary details in the hostel registration form and it is free of cost as it is a government college and hostel. The locality is best in Vadodara with greenery around as there is 2 huge garden full of flowers and also you can get transport facility easily and the best thing is that it is very safe for women to live there as it is situated in a good place.
