M Sandeep Kumar's Review On Annamacharya University, Rajampet

I have taken EAMCET and scored 12,542 rank. College has good name and it is near to my place. Teaches as per schedule and have regular labs.

Course curriculum goes as per the university schedule. We have regular classes followed by lab. Labs are good and you have schedules for lab on weekly basis. Electives we don't have option for selection, faculty decides on electives. We have mid exams and process goes as per the university schedule.

As per my knowledge there is no stipend. May be at present it is available I don't know. During our time very few companies have came for placement. Afterwards we found they are to some extent fake companies. I don't remember people got selected have not joined companies. Few companies address itself people are not able to find.

Very bad during our time. we have only placement opportunities with JKC. Present I heard there are some companies coming for placements. I am not aware more on this at present. But in 2010, we have very bad placements. We have placements with companies like Wipro, infosys, Tech mahindra with JKC.

We don't have much events. First years will be having freshers party and final years having farewell party. In between we have National level Symposiums. Apart this not much more. Apart from this there will be a tour as part of Environmental science subject.

During the initial stage we will be paying academy fee at EAMCET counselling itself. Once you join college you need to pay building fees as extra. From next year you need to pay normal fees and pay fees for your university exams. Apart from this we don't have any fees.

According to my knowledge there is no scholarship or loan facility provided by college. All my friends have taken education loans from their home towns. College will provide details of fees for getting loan.

Coming to college life, campus is ok. We have greenery inside college. Coming to sex ratio, there will be 2:1 ration of boys and girls. There are no much student parties and have very less ragging. People with all economic status are present and there wiil not be any inequality with respect to gender, religion and economic status.

For us during our time we don't have hostels for boys. We joined as group of friends and have taken room for staying. We have appointed made for our food purpose. Apart in college you have canteen facility. If we walk outside college lots of messes available.

Presently there is no alumni network for senior students. Each branch has their own whatsapp groups for interaction. Till now one alumni is being conducted in college for senior students from 2010 to till date.

We will be having two mid exams and lab exams separately. At the end we will be having final lab exams and then subject exams. A mid exams has one computerised bit question followed by 20 marks of descriptive questions. Out of the four mid exams best of three with average marks in considered. Final exams are for 80 marks.

In AP, we have EAMCET exam for getting admission to engineering colleges. In EAMCET admission process I have opted for this college and got seat. All the notifications will be released by Govt and schedules admission process based on our ranks. Once our schedule comes we should verify our documents, select college with branch. You will get admission in the college.

Coming to the faculty not all the faculty are experienced. We have our seniors who have passed taught us. But now I feel there are experienced faculty because people who taught us are still present in college. Faculty is very strict especially for IT branch. We have some good faculty.
