Remarks

The admission process was simple, quick. Because of the dreaded Covid-19, the admission process for SIDTM was conducted in online mode. The exam which is used to shortlist students is Symbiosis National Aptitude Test or commonly known as SNAP. SNAP is a pan-India Management entrance exam that is conducted by Symbiosis International University or SIU. A 60 minutes objective exam which tests one's knowledge in the following subjects: English, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning. One can give the SNAP exam two times and the best score out of the 2 exams one has given can be shared with the colleges you have applied to of your choice. SNAP application form can be filled at the official SNAP website with a fee of Rs.1950/-. The eligibility for SIDTM is that one needs to have 50% in Graduation in any stream and a minimum SNAP score of 78-80 percentile. Once you fulfil the above criteria then one is shortlisted for GE-PIWAT, where WAT is conducted on an online portal and GEPI is conducted on ZOOM.

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.
