College that changed my life

I applied for SNAP. I selected 5 colleges. The application cost was 1750 and 1000 for each college applied. The SNAP form was easily available in the official portal. After getting shortlisted in the colleges preferred, GEPIWAT was conducted which contributed to 50% in the final marks list. The entire process was held smoothly.

As the course curriculum provided by SIDTM is technology driven and I am a computer science engineer it was easier for me to correlate and move ahead in my career. The faculty is very cooperative and student friendly. It helps students in solving case studies prevalent in the industry.

The college offers some great companies for Live projects and summer internships for the students. Internship opportunities are huge as about 40 companies come to campus. Some of the job roles are business analyst, pre sales, digital marketing, consultant.

Post pandemic there has been huge growth in average salaries offered by organizations (+30%) and interim placement report can be viewed on the Institute's website. Big 4s and other consulting forms such as Protiviti and BCG visit the institute. Startup also offer great packages. This year highest package is 29 LPA and the average for top 50 students is about 15 LPA.

The fees are approximately 16 lakhs, inclusive of hostel, mess and tuition fees. It might sound steep but ROI works in the favour of students. 2 scholarships are provided at PG level. Late Jayatee Deshmukh Scholarship is awarded to SNAP female toppers.

We have a huge and beautiful campus. There are student driven committees that take care of all the aspects of your experiences and learnings on campus. The college also conducts an international Telecom seminar which is completely handled by students on campus. The campus has courts and ground for various sports and swimming too.

Hostel rooms are large and well maintained as cleaning is done every day. Each student is provided with a bed study table, chair and shelf to keep luggage. The hostel mess provides a well balanced diet and the mess menu is changed every week.

After clearing the entrance exam of SNAP, the shortlist comes out for the students who then appear for GEPIWAT (Group exercise personal interview written ability test). The weightage of marks is 50% for the SNAP exam and 50% for GEPIWAT. The cut off is decided by SIU.
