Remarks
The admission is done on the basis of the entrance exam conducted by SRCC itself. The form comes generally in the month of November and the exam date is held in February last or March first week. The paper consists of four sections named Language, Logical reasoning, Data interpretation, and Quantitative Ability. There are 25 questions for each section carrying 4 marks each. The negative marking for the wrong answer is 1/4 of marks awarded or 1 mark. The admission was taken on the basis of a merit list, followed by group discussion and personal Interviews. The reservation criteria are the same as defined by the government, where EWS is also getting reservations of 10 % in total seats. The admission process is very smooth and the admission department is very supportive with queries that arise at the time of admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen this course as it provides a diverse field of knowledge in all domains, also ROI is a very good factor to opt for the SRCC GBO program. The batch strengths of GBO lies between 80-85 students with mixed gender and domain diversity. The faculty teaching at the GBO is well qualified and experienced which helps the students to grasp the knowledge of the course in great detail. The semester exams are very practical based where questions and it required good knowledge to clear the exam with good grades
Internships Opportunities
Almost every student gets an internship from the college with a decent stipend. The internships were offered in various roles such as marketing and sales, finance, operations, legal, HR, etc but the internship in the college is offered only for the summer.
Placement Experience
The placements are above average at SRCC GBO with average placements of 10 lakhs and a median package of 9.5 lakhs per annum. The highest package was around 18 lakhs at our time and it has seen significant growth in past years.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure is very cheap in the college as it cost only 80000 per semester or 320,000 for both years. There are no extra charges demanded by the college and you have also the leverage of acquiring education loans from banks.
Campus Life
The classes in the SRCC have advanced facilities with a high-tech library and a lush green campus. The college is also very much socially active as there're many fests, seminars, fairs, industry visits during the course.
Interview Experience
Unfortunately, in my time of admission, there was no GD-PI involved due to the Covid-19 lockdown, and the admission is done on the basis of entrance scores only. But the topics asked in Group discussions are mostly current affairs topics.
