Best college in North Karnataka for Mechanical Engineering

Good, College environment and faculty was awesome and I always appreciate and thank full for their support. Bad remark. College has very poor campus recruitment facilities.If we are not getting a right job opportunity then whatever college will provide it wiil be waste so I give 2 out of 10. Finally my conclusion is college is best for learning but not good for getting a job.

I had taken CET exam wich was conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority Bangalore.I have secured 22626 ranking in CET exam.I have choosen this college because it's very near to my home town and this place and food is very good for me.

As I told college is best for Mechanical Engineering because the college have good workshop facilities and experienced faculty.College is affiliated with the Visveswaraya Technological university Belagaum so the syllabus structure is also given by them only.

College will not give any Internship but if you wish college will support for that and there will be no paid internships.

In MECHANICAL ENGINEERING department only 18 members placed in campus recruitment process.Tata advanced materials limited,Tech Mahindra, Triveni Turbines, JSW , Mphasis,etc companies will come for hiring but overall placement is poor. Companies will offer arround 2.5 to 4 lak packages

All kind of events are conducted by college like national level paper presentation, interdependent cricket tournament, all kind of sports,and cultural events like dance competition and Singing computation. Here annual event was the best event because it includes award ceremony and cultural events like mimicry,dance, singing,play,etc.The best festival is Ganapathi pooja.

Fee structure is feasible university fees 38 to 42k and college fees 15k for a year.And hostel fees 45k for a year.If you don't want to stay in hostel we can find rooms easily near by college within 2000 for month.For food so many mess available near by college and by spending 2000 we will get good food also.

Yes college will support in getting scholarship.I have availed the scholarship of 22k for a year from Vidyashree scholarship scheme for OBC NCL.I have taken education loan of 2lak from SBI Bank with interest of 13℅.

Gender ratios very with departments because in MECHANICAL Department we hardly find girls in class.in my call no girls was there.In computer science or information science Department we hardly find boys. There is no racism or religious based activities.We can't see here any politics. Very frequently workshop are conducted by college on different topics. I had been attending workshops on robotics, Dtsi engine, etc. Local students are more but we will definitely find at least 10 students out of 100 from North India.

Hostel fees 45k for a year. Accommodation is very nice but food is not good only break fast is good. If you don't want to stay in hostel we can find rooms easily near by college within 2000 for month.For food so many mess available near by college and by spending 2000 we will get good food also.

I didn't find any useful information or help from my seniors.Alumni is not upto the mark.I hope it will became good in future.

Exams are conducted very strictly and in labs we can chill because labs are very interesting and time will go like any thing. Internals will be scheduled in frequency of one month and 3 exams will be there.Best of 3 will be considered for Total marks.Lab internals will be scheduled at the end of semester.

Usually CET forms need to be filled in February or March.After completing the 2nd PU exams we need to arrive for CET exam.Results will come in May and we need to choose the colleges which we prefer and After selecting the college we need to reach college for admission which will take one day process.just need to pay college fees and CET Acknowledgement form need to be submitted here.

In MECHANICAL ENGINEERING department almost all Faculty was filled with experienced lecturers and we will feel their English is very good but considering Technical aspects we can give 8 out of 10.The Faculty take personal care also and motivate us to go through dept of syllabus.
