Remarks

With 40% of seats being reserved for the scheduled quota, You need to pass ur board exams of Class 12 to take admission in this course. The application form could be filled through the college website by filling up the requisite fees.I want a little easier process of application submission to improve the admission process.

I want to become an auditor in the future so I chose this course so that I can know different ways how to conduct an audit. Teachers to students ratio is 1:50 that is 1 teacher allowed for every 50 students.All teachers are highly qualified to have doctorate degrees. Term exams are held half-yearly semester-wise basis.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 5650 per year

Placement Experience

After passing the 2nd year student become eligible for a campus where good MNC and banks visit the college to hire students link Pnb Bank of Baroda ITC etc. Around 70% of students get placement with an average salary of around 7 lacs per annum and the highest of 11 lacs per annum.I want to become a company auditor in the future.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is being reduced for lower-caste students and students below the poverty line so that they can afford to study. While scholarship is being provided to students not only those who excel in studies but also to those who excel in sports.

Campus Life

The annual fest is being held during Christmas every year where every time any celebrity or popular person is brought for the fame of college.The library is well maintained with books on different topics. The classroom is too old and not equipped with modern facilities. Sports activities are held very frequently by college unions.The college has its own maintain website.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The aspects of the curriculum which really influenced my decision was building the foundation of accounting to holding expertise, which was aligned with my goal of studying CA. The curriculum used to be upto date which give us a real time exposure. The exam used to take place in every 3 months.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
