Entrance Preview

I gave SNAP and scored well, i cleared GEPIWAT . I liked the ambience of the college, also the seniors are very helpful from day 1.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is very rigorous, each semester the pressure increases. The classes vary generally 8 to 12 hours every day. Every aspect of Business is covered in it. It requires rigorous assignment and field work, along with presentations and projects in teams sometimes interdisciplinary.

Internships Opportunities

Yes it does provide very good internship, depending on your capability. For every internship you need to clear GD and PI for which seniors and teachers give you workshops.

Placement Experience

It is very good depending on how well you perform in your internship and academics and how well you gain on practical and application based knowledge all the big companies come for recruitment with good profile equally for all 4 majors (scm, hr, marketing, finance).

College Events

There are cultural as well management events in here. they happen all across the year and keep you involved. for every event there are committees form which has members from the course only the main event takes place in January in which colleges from all over india take part.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college provides scholarship to those who perform exceptionally well and yes loans are available. By the time you apply for GEPIWAT you get calls from loan that is especially for symbiosis.

Exam Structure

This is a 4 sem course with every semester exam after 5 months taking place, it is important to score well in all semester and all subjects to do well. In between internal evaluations takes place with varying credits. The scores are given in CGPA and thus all subjects are equally important.

Admission

Take SNAP, clear the cut off, take GEPIWAT which held in month of feb and get admission. The GEPIWAT is held for 6 days in 3day slots. you can choose any slot on your own. The process starts from 9am to 4pm which includes 3 exercises, first written aptitude test, the Group Exercise, then Personal interview

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. Life at SIIB

Basically, my CAT didn't go as expected. So I couldn't make it to colleges that accept CAT as an entrance. If you look into agribusiness colleges that accept CAT - MANAGE, hyderabad VAMNICOM, Pune NIAM, Jaipur NAARM, hyderabad etc Due to my low score in cat i didn't get into any of these. I also had given SNAP exam through which i applied to SIIB, pune which was one of the best decisions i made back then. The college is excellent. The only thing is since its a private college the fee is bit on a higher side compared to other ABM colleges in India. But in placements and faculty its equally competitive. Lets get a deep dive inside SIIB

The admission process comprised of the SNAP Test, followed by the GD-PI Process. The cut-off for Symbiosis Institute of International Business was somewhere between 88-90 percentile. Eligibility Criteraia: Student needs to appear for the SNAP Exam. They should have completed their Graduation or must be in the Final Year of their Graduation. Application forms are available on the college website on the homepage. Once you complete the snap test and get through the cut-off, you are sent a GD-PI Call Letter. Then, you have the option to choose your preferred date and time slot for the GD-PI process. (The process is conducted Online) Next, during the GD-PI process, there are volunteers available to guide and help through the process. It is conducted in a very smooth and efficient manner.
